Thumbs up

Ok,

I got the bike and the problem is resolved as of now.

Problem was with a wire in the switch which had a cut

The RPM issue is reported due to clutch plate, it needs to be changed according to the Service guys and not in Stock as usual

Just for your reference - here is the bill:-
Quote:
Servicing - 170
Engine Oil - 200
Accelerator Cable - 80
Plug - 75
Starter Relay - 213
Battery Charging - 80
Labour - 150
Total - 968 (quite low as I expected, I was ready for a bill at around 3-4K) Had already spent 4K on the issue when I gave the bike to a local mechanic earlier.

What wire cut are you talking about in the switch?
Clutch plates damage would only raise your bikes when accelerated hard. It would not cause any problem like you have mentioned in your first post.

rpm not being stable and rpm not dropping at gear change is no sign of faulty/worn out clutch plates.
