I was searching for their website but could not find one.this company seems to be importing the components of the bike from Taiwan and assembling it here and their plant is somewhere around delhi and haryana.cost of bike is 28k which sounds really good.
Any more info on this front?
Does it look like a scooter or a motorcycle? Well, this can be a practical option no doubt, if the Li-ion batteries are not that costly.

It looks like a scooter... but if the manufacturer claims (regarding top end) are to be believed.. this is the "Fastest Indian" Scooter. (Suzuki Access has a Top end of 92kmph). Also consideing the torquey nature of the Electric motor.. even the ZMAs and the P220s of this world will have a hard time keeping up with this one in the city..

More details here: Hi-Bird launches 100km/h electric scooters, starting Rs 27,000

Similarly there is a company in pune by the name of miracle 5. Bhushan shah is the owner/developer etc. I was in conversation with him about 6 months back for a electric bike project.

Apparently they have a motorcycle of the dimension of a discover/old gen pulsar, with a front disc, a 16 inch rear, and a 18 front. Hub drive. The bike has a top speed of 75-80 kmph, and a range of 80-100 kms depending on your drive stye. Around 45k, but the batteries are not lead acid, hence it can take more discharge cycles, and can provide a higher capacity.

Maybe some guys in pune can confirm this, since the bike had to be homologated for release ( due to performance and power ).

Just 27,000 ??? Thats a cool deal & full of VFM. Am sold for it. But i doubt that they would price it that low when the competitors are far high in priced.
