Pros : Great performance, nice exhaust note, easy to perform stunts, steel braided brake line, stable, spilt seats, size suits tall riders, highest top speed among bikes less than 250cc, mod friendly, projector lamps, great value for money, chunky silencer, oil cooler.
Cons : Very poor quality fairing plastics, front fairing design isn’t the most appealing or sporty, naked chain is maintenance heavy, quality of parts needs improvement, the bike is also heavy, rear view mirrors next to useless, Over enthusiastic speedo shows upto 150 Km/h compared to the actual top speed of 132.
Thanks.

YES everything is True ... !
last statement is a bit on a higher note though ... actual top end on various GPS devices is 138 kmph which is like 150 + kmph on the speedo.

Thumbs down

There seems to be some sort of issue, my bike tops out at 135-137km/h (speedo reading) even though there was absolutely no wind blowing.

Checked the afr screw: Placed at 4x360 degree turns.

It would be great if some of the senior members could post the afr screw turns along with top speed.
I will be checking the tappet settings and valve clearance today, filling nitrogen in the tires, servicing the bike and visiting Automech for tuning and filling cotton glass wool in the end can.

Is there anything else i need to check for the same problem? I'd like to get it sorted asap so i can go ahead with the BMC filter and MSD coil.

Thanks SnD, any useful tips on P220 DTSi is appreciated.
Does anyone have a picture of a Misty Silver Grey P220 DTSi?
I am thinking of buying one or is it worth waiting for a new launch from any other brand in a month or two?

I have got the following replaced under warranty at autoservice:
1) starter clutch
2)cdi
3)cone kit
4)speedo sensor

And i have given my vehicle for service only at autoservice .. This is to clariy that the stuff about warranty being void is bull$@#$.

and Autosrvice has been around ever since bajaj started and has been an authorized bajaj workshop ever since ...

I have the same two issues man ... The wheel thing is the small rubber thing in the wheel which makes contact between the axle and wheel.
The wobbling thing above 60kmph is a small minute fork bend ... This started after i had a crash (in which my front disc got bent). The overall handling is not compromised but it wobbles after 60kmph ...

No stay with the mineral oil till ~2500 kms and after that you can shift to SS and then FS.

Yes waiting would be fruitful IMO ...because there are some launches in the pipeline from various brands.
Silver P220 pictures are attached below. [the bike belongs to chokoboi]
