Damn!! Take care dude! Well i'd rather try to rotate it through the knob and see what happens

Thanks to Pranay's post, i found the adjustment knob to the right of the rubber cap (the rubber cap seems to be cover for the lamp mounting screw). Rotated it clockwise (my fingers are feeling a bit numb as the screw was a tad tight) and the low beam started coming lower. It is pretty much manageable by anyone and doesn't require a visit to SVC.

Thanks sirjee.

Yup, Lavasa is on the list. But, I would rather keep the bike up right... Don't wanna take a chance damaging such a nice helmet

Question X

I have purchased a red Pulsar 220 on 3rd August and now I am facing starting problem. Help me out guys, Yesterday I did not ride my bike for the whole day, today when I pushed the start button the bike refused to start. After 3 continuous cranks the cranking function was disabled, again after 30 secs I tried for two more times but the bike did not start. It started at the third time after 10 long minutes. Why did this problem occur ? My friend said that bike's with no kick face these kind of problems. I don't ride my bike daily, so do I have to start the bike daily ?? I just ride once in three to four days. What should I do ?

Mine doesn't seem to be working. it is starting at the 1st crank. but i need to do the work of auto-choke
have they disabled seeing the feedback in xbhp?.
when you start the bike(fresh from delivery) though the weather is hot or cold, till 1st service, you have to wait for a minute before you raise the accelerator...after 1st service,if its hot outside, the you just have to wait for 3 or 5 seconds for the autochoke to do its work and for the oil to circulate in engine....if its cold then the bike may take 30 seconds to come to normal....

atleast this is whats happening with my bike now

i've faced no starting trouble till date. every morning i thumb the starter(without touching the throttle otherwise ii stalls) and the engine fires up in half a crank then i let it idle for a minute while i get my bag and helmet on then i move off.
dude was there enough petrol in the bike?i think you should complete the run in as soon as possible and not leave it lyning around especially in the rainy season

has anyone tried changing the setting of the rear shocks? mine are in the softest setting. maybe firming it up will solve the scraping of the main stand?

I think last night was quite cool in Nasik. I had some starting trouble too. Exhausted the 1st 3 cranks, but didn't have to wait 10 minutes. Just switched it off, then on again, then cranked it once again, and the engine came back to life.. I think our idling is set too low thats why we are getting problems. Mine is at 1100 rpm, I think yours too. BTW, my avg crossed 40kmpl, still going strong.

P.S.: I still havent understood anything about the auto-choke thing. Never felt it work.
