How do I check if the faulty relay is causing the battery drain?
this is a bit scary method, use a screw driver and connect both the ends of the relay through it, you should keep the kill switch on and the bike on neutral , I checked mine that way and found that the relay was faulty, got it changed for 210/-

but then that does not explain the drain of the battery overnight, if the baterry is being drained by the issue you mentioned then wouldnt it refuse to start when he tries to start next time ??

My bike causes problems ONLY WHEN it is not used for 24+ hours. i.e. If I park it tonight.. and try to start it in the morning 'Day After Tomorrow'.. the starter won't work.. I will get a 'kharrr' noise.. and thats the end of that... Dhakka start once... and everything goes back to normal in 5 minutes time. I had even got the battery charged at an external batterywala... still didn't help. But this actually is not much of an issue as I generally use the bike everyday.

universal tool kits have a lot of stuff, yet it some times don't have whats needed. Was trying to adjust chain tightness. and the biggest socket available in my toolbox was two sizes negative.

better to buy what is necessary.

1) one 6/8 ring spanner (you dont need a T spanner to open the airbox sleeve)
2) 12/13 ,10/11 box spanners (for the m8, m6 nuts)
3) the single sided ring spanner provided with the bike's toolkit, along with extension sleeve
4) allen key for disc brake disassembly (dont know the size, is probably 8, but will need to confirm)
5)Adjustable spanner 24/26 max size.

I agree these will be little bit of added weight, But you will not be paying for things that you dont need.

And no worry for losing sockets if you are careless.

The kharr sound indicates the battery is low, and since you've got the battery charged, I feel the battery is faulty, get it replaced, I had no fuel in the tank and tried starting the bike for like 20 times so on the 21st start got the kharr sound and the cluster showed low battery sign, and if you get the kharr sound, it also means that the relay isn't faulty
