Thread: Pulsar 220 DTSI

can u please tell me where i can find a DIY to double tape the fairing area. There is a substantial amount of vibration from 4k to 6k rpm. Even the tacho meter needle shakes quite a lot

dont think theirs any diy for this, and afaik the tacho meter needle shaking is due to the faulty meter not coz of vibes

Guys my rides chain is making slight noise only while accelerating hard but during the running there is no other sounds from the chain it comes only while accelerating in the lower gears like 1st & 2nd thats it.
Bike is 17.3k kms old from the beginning onwards i regularly lube and clean the chain with TVS chain spray and sae 90 oil.

check the Chain Tension, make sure its not loose.

Congrats on the new ride, enjoy it remember the run in period respect that. I did a lot and hence having a pleasant ride on it till date done 6800 km.

@antz: well said buddy but since I use my cell for our beloved website it automatically resizes it for me and this way I have no problem.and able to see what u guyz are posting. I am lucky not to scroll anywhere

Umm, if I may ask and if its not off topic, why P220 and not the newest kid P200NS?

For me, look wise, I love P220 more than P200NS. I already ride a naked bike (younger sibling, P150) and seeing a P220 makes me go GA-GA

I first wanted 200NS but then the Vibrations on +100 were way too much to tolerate , I went for a long test ride on that too ~30KM (I know ppl in Kalyani Bajaj :P). And 200NS is full fiber body, correct me if wrong on this. So any fall would bring great damage to the bike
