Did I say 200? Oops, I mean 220 of course. (Anything less won't do.) Hope it'll give you good service for many years.

1. how is the ride feel i mean is it smoother than the FI
2. at what rpm does 60kmph come
3. in the ad they said it is nimbler than previous is it ??? i mean a better handler than R15?
4. approx wat mileage r u getting during your runnin?

1. Ride feel is good. I've never ridden a 220FI so I cannot tell you the difference.
2. At what gear are you asking ?
3. I feel It is almost as good as the r15. Definately not better than it. Also it does vibrate more than the R15.
4. Mileage as I said i'll be checking after the running-in. This is because when its raining and I do not take out the bike, I Start it up and leave on for around 15 - 20 mins.

This has got me a little confused, running the bike at idle during the run-in is something they recommend against if I'm not mistaken. They recommend to keep the RPM varying and not keep it at constant RPM. Also after some amount of run-in the engine needs to be taking to higher RPMs slowly while riding, as it needs some load on it to actually get the benefit of run-in.

Also while idling there's no ride wind to take the heat away from the engine, which may or may not be a problem.

(Or if you believe Motoman, it's the force on the piston rings and other parts that actually account for most of the run-in. So he recommends to hit it hard according to a given pattern and get the whole thing over with. YMMV)

Yes. Maintaining a constant RPM is not advisable during the run-in period.

You are right. I would actually prefer taking her out but damn these rains! However I do not believe in hitting her hard at all.

I believe a middle road can be taken, drive cautiously and manage the engine RPM during the first bit of the run-in, and later in the run-in (like 400+km) give the engine a burst of higher RPMs every now and then. That way you'll gradually open up the engine without putting too much strain on the parts.

And I really do think there's no substitute for driving the bike, since I have a feeling the Motoman method has a sound technical base, just that we don't have to dyno setup to actually do it right. So while running in the engine does have to be loaded for the actual parts to make proper contact.

Ofcourse, there's guys here that have much better insight in these things than me. I would love to hear from Joel or one of the other tuners/petrolheads on this subject.
