Default urgent help!

friends i need urgent help!
my beast is giving me only 29-30 kmpl milage which is burning my pocket money like hell!
even after i got it tuned twice at PBK the milage figures r same. can any one suggest me a proper tuning technique which i can try out my self coz i dont feel like going to PBK again and again!
and can anyone please tell me what can be the reason for these milage figures??
and i took my beast at 133kmph within 2000kms which according to bajaj is run-in period of the bike!! can this be the reason?? right now i have done 1600kms on my bike. please help me frnds

Are you sure of the quality of the fuel?..It is the main culprit now days. You can check the CO% level. A leaner CO will give you more mileage. Are you a hard ripper ?. If yes then change your driving technique. Try a different engine oil. I myself get 35 in city and quite happy with it citing my driving technique

If you plan to do it in PBK then just ask them to flush your engine. The method is pour small amount of engine flush in the old engine oil and idle run the engine for 5 mins then flush it out and pour the new one.

But later at second service when i took it with me for installation by them they refused telling it will void the warranty

Buddy the only 3 negatives i've found in P220 are

Firstly, handling part which you are aware!
Secondly, the RVMs. They really suck big time. They might not matter for you if you are habitual of riding without them!
Thirdly, the rear braking. Its as good as drum brakes!!!!

Well if you can live with these then the bike is out there in sun waiting for you!!!
Coz beyond these there are hell lot of advantages from this bike!!!

Also the high beam goes way up the horizon(at an angle of 55-60 degrees)...Is it only me who has this steep angle?
You can fix it yourself by adjusting a screw behind the high beam. Its tricky but I know you will be more satisfied than PBK guys doing the same for you

Do you mind spending some time with close-to-heart-but-freaking svc . Tell them that they claimed 42 FE in city and you should at least get the privilege of 35kmph .. When did they changed your engine oil?
