Arrow 1st year of 'fun' ownership!!

RTR 180:1st year of Ownership!!

The White Angel/Devil has turned a year old today.16th of July 2009 was the date when the bike became a part of our family and adored our garage besides it's two siblings. It's been one full year of intense acceleration, intoxicating exhaust note, glorious intake roar and leaning to the max on close to 15000 kms of tarmac.

The Victor will turn '8' tomorrow!!

The bike has taken everything with elan until now and it's been a delightful ownership so far.Though some minor grouses were experienced in the
form of conked off speedo console and an erratic rear tail lamp which was taken care off by the warranty.During the initial days, the bike wasnt
performing up to it's full potential and it was kind of disappointing but post 10 k kms and after switching over to Semi-Synthetic the performance of the motor has been superb to say the least. The now customary Engine hiccups(suffered by most 180s) occasionally peep their ugly heads out along with the some amount of vibrations(on handlebar).

All those issues were duly taken care of by the prompt service personnel of the TVS Svc out here.I am so far satisfied with the overall ownership experience and to top on to that it has been a hassle-free affair.Touchwood!!

LATEST Update:
The only long standing gripe with the bike is the inability of the front end to dive in with authority under hard braking. The front shock absorbers are not performing upto the mark and even trying with altering the oil level the feel is nothing to write home about. After much coaxing the service people have finally agreed to replace the entire front assembly under warranty.

Total kms covered:7500+7300=14800kms
Top speed clocked:137km/hr
Still running stock brake pads.
Rear tyre have been almost out of usable tread and calling for replacement but still they are surprisingly performing well.

So as a treat for completion of 1 year of ownership we have given the bike a new pair of "Designer" Footwear!!

Some gestures received from TVS till date:

Got this on the festive occasion of Rath Yatra couple of days back!!

Feels good that TVS has been constantly in touch with us and even the service department from Bangalore do regularly call us up regarding the bike's performance and servicing experience at the dealership.

Assorted pics taken during the ownership(some are posted earlier in xBhp)!!
