No possibilities of Haslam and maybe Crutchlow (if he stays in WSBk that is...)...?,

Nopes, nada, nil.
Crutchlow is off to MotoGP to fill the seat vacated by Ben Spies and even Haslam is courted by one of the MotoGP team (the name escapes me).

too bad....I kinda like Haslam....hope he goes to a good team......no point coming in 10th everytime.....is it the beginning of a new trend.....i.e. start in WSBK...get some good results and then move to Motogp.....Edwards, Spies, Crutchlow and now Haslam....there may be others/exceptions...am kinda new to WSBK stuff....

Makoto Tamada/ Shinya Nakano/ Max Biaggi/ Reuben Xaus/ Michel Fabrizio to name a few.

Few came to Moto GP from WSBK & went back again, in the same way as few came to WSBK for BSB & went back to BSB again.

Not to forget..others who started and built their careers in GP and then moved to SBK..Biaggi comes first to mind in recent memory..but I'm sure there're few more as well..

I personally feel that it is kinda of Talent drain for WSBK.....the riders who do well in WSBK..(read fight for victory)....move to motgp and become a 6th-7th place finisher....(spies is exception)....thus reducing the no. of probable winners which results in relatively boring races...(relative is the keyword..)

Imagine spies fighting Biaggi for title this year....

Maybe they should merge both the champioships....would make for a great watch.....Just imagine....

^^ that would be mean motorsports on one sunday and cricket on the next at ESPn Star.

either way you will miss the SBK races so whats the point.

Melandri, Toseland and Eugene Laverty are fighting for the BMW Seat. Xaus sure looks down and out.

Who would you pick?

I haven't seen Laverty riding.
