Err....aaargghhh....Again the same old 125cc saga When're we going to graduate to 250cc scooters? We'd the age old 150cc from Lambretta & Bajaj & ever since then, the max we had only were 150cc.

C'mon now, atleast bring a 150cc liquid cooled engine in a scooter!!!

+1000.. Why can't the likes of Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha bring in a miniature version of their respective scoots, the Silver Wing, Burgman and the T-Max..?? I mean, Yamaha price a 150cc bike with a big plastic bit in the front for 80+k and STILL manage to sell decent numbers every month.. Why not try the same approach with a 150cc mill..?? Make them smaller or take design cues from the T-Max and get a scooter rolling like the Kinetic Blaze which didn't take off because of a lot of issues.. But since Yamaha has its name, they can try.. Same goes for Honda & Suzuki..

I know people tell stories about volume in sales n stuff.. But, think of it this way.. Every major manufacturer is making India a production hub and exporting vehicles from here.. So, they can as well do this.. In JC Style, "How Hard Can It Be..??"

Where're the front disc brakes SunilJi? I saw an Orange pic of Vespa in TOI (Zigwheels or something) today portraing a front disc brake.

Looks beautiful! Any possibility of a larger displacement version coming out?

Aargee - unless and until our road conditions and general road safety improves drastically, its not feasible to have scooters with bigger engine. Just my opinion.

I owned a LML long long ago. I bought it because my dad loved his LML vespa. It used to do such nice wheelies . I am not convinced with the design. Things have moved on from 10 years. May be my dad would buy it

Well...I've a slightly different opinion; the road conditions ARE IMPROVING, general road safety is far better compared to western countries; so what's the point missing? Sigh!!! its a never ending ranting; you, me & the entire xBhp community know what it is all about

                      where did you get that?

India has far more accidents than the western countries. There almost every accident is reported in the news. Here its all settled on the streets, barring a few.

Since the average speed in India is much less so the accidents are only minor bumps and scratches.

Come to TN roads, I'll show all the roads are extremely well laid, but still there're accidents. If there're poor roads, then the accidents should be caused by falling into potholes but those are rare cases.

So? What's the point? The root of the problem lies right with improper driver's education, corruption in RTO & net result, poor results on road. If you happen to travel through a cab, ask the young driver if he know why there're white lines on the road & what's the difference between yellow & staggerred white lines. Hats off, if he could explain the difference.

I can 110% agree that compared to Kerala,TN has very well laid wide roads....envious.
