Tip of the Day

Hot days - molten Tar = slip/slide

Hot days create more than one problem. Tarmac roads with a greater than normal proportion of tar mixed in their making is one. The extra targets soft and gooey. Brake hard on it or take a fast turn and the bike can slide as easily on it as on spilt oil. So watch it.

    Default New Kawasaki ZX-6R spied!

This is the 2013 Kawasaki ZX-6R, spied while filming a Kawasaki promotional video, which reveals the firm has gone back to the big-bore 636cc designation of previous years.

The spy shots have emerged months ahead of the bike's launch and were taken at the Bungalow, just before the Mountain Mile section of the Isle of Man TT course.

MCN revealed last month the ZX-6R would get a mild cosmetic refresh and this is borne out by these world-first spy shots, which show the new bike looking more akin to the current ZX-10R.

Kawaks certainly on a role. Every other day getting to see a new product from Kawak. Sept 13th gets more hype.

Relationships change, evolve, and it goes deep.

Too bad some pics are in monochrome. But you can get an idea of the colours from the first pic.

    Default A return to 636cc

Making its worldwide debut as part of Kawasaki’s “Times Square Takeover” event in the heart of New York City, Team Green officially unveiled the 2013 Ninja ZX-6R, which gets a bump back to 636cc after a six-year absence. While this move is sure to shake up the 600cc supersport racing class, especially as a race-homologated, 600cc ZX-6RR version won’t be available this time around, the larger displacement and subsequent torque bump will make the Ninja a more capable street machine and track weapon. In addition, Kawasaki set out to make the new ZX-6R the most technologically advanced Ninja ever.
