Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL), the Indian subsidiary of the Italian company has targeted selling almost 1 lakh of its scooters in India.
Piaggio is planning to launch a disc brake version and a sportier version of the Vespa. The current capacity of the plant is 1,50,000 units and it is progressively being revamped by October 2013. The target for 2013 is to sell 95,000 units.
