Bajaj ruled the Indian two-wheeler space for decades post independence, manufacturing robust scooters like the venerable Chetak to mobilise the common Indian. These blockbuster models survived infinite lifecycles, something unheard of in India's fast moving two-wheeler market today.

Is it Bajaj Blade?
Can it be possible that bajaj is reviving Bajaj Blade concept which has 125-150 cc dtsi engine, front wheel disk brake and twin rear shocks. Even at the display time Bajaj said its an peformance oriented scooter.
Any takers for the Blade?

Lol waves silencer and ct 100's suspension..didn't know this was a concept, was eagerly waiting for Bajaj to launch this when I was riding my wave..
also a similar scooter was shown in afsana banake song from dil diya hai so thought they were promoting this scooter
since the directors surname was also bajaj:banghead:

damn, it looks hot ... alloy wheels, disk brake, telescopic front, twin shock absorber in rear, futuristic styling, front fuelling, nice dashboard, twin headlights.
but i am a greedy person, i want more, bajaj should come back to scooter market with a bang. a rather big bang. and make it a 200 CC scooter with bigger & wider tyres, bigger fuel tank (more range) brighter headlights, mobile charger option, a stepped seat a la a perfect touring scooter, and one thing, that bulge in middle of front footrest area should go so that i can occasionally carry an LPG cylinder when needed.
if any such sexy scooter is launched, i am selling off (forcefully) my wife's hero honda pleasure....with much pleasure.
Edit: autocar india page shows such a lame scooter whereas the pics posted on this page created very high hopes........oops..wait and watch, and quite recently bajaj has said that it is not looking at scooter segment right now and will focus on motorcycles, what a U-turn.Last edited by princesirohi; 01-11-2013, 11:35 PM.Comment

Thanks @s_hari, for the pics. Wow the blade looks so hot and stylish among the boring looking Indian scooters (except aviator). When was it shown. If Bajaj puts it into production it would be a good life-style vehicle. Im sure they are very good in building scooters. They are also first to bring 4-stroke scooters in India.Whats there in a signature?Comment
