The team led by Captain Abhijit Mehlawat has performed at the Republic Day parade, the ASIAD, the SAF and the Afro-Asian games.
The first record set was by Capt. Mehlawat himself as he rode a 16 km long zig-zag track 'handsfree'! The previous record was held by Liu Jichun of China which was a hands free zig-zag ride covering 5.32 Kms.
The second record that was broken was that held by the British Army Corps of Signals, where 8 people on 2 motorcycles covered 1 km in 1 minute 38 seconds. The Indian team overhauled this record with elan. 10 people covered the same distance on 2 motorcycles in just 54 seconds!
The final record was breaking a record previously set by the same team in which 28 men covered 1 km on 3 motorcycles in 66 seconds. This time 30 men did the same distance in 60 seconds only.
The records were certified by two high court judges to be added into the Limca Book of Records and the Guiness Book of Records.
