Harley Davidson is planning to reduce 6 models from its 2014 lineup according to a leaked memo from the company to its dealers.
According to the memo, the models that will face the axe are - XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic, FLHRC Road King Classic, FLHR Road King and the FLTRX Road Glide.
The first three are being discontinued due to falling sales. The Road Glide will be a temporary stop, as newer versions of the same will be launched.
With this HD will hope to reduce the overlap and cannibalization of its sales. Recently the company had announced a drop in sales but a rise in profits!
