The Kawasaki Ninja R Mono is powered by a 250cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, DOHC engine which belts out 27.61 BHP of power at 9700 RPM and 22.6 Nm of torque at 8200 RPM. The motorcycle has a top speed of 153 km/hr and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The Ninja 250 RR Mono is underpinned by a tube type diamond frame and runs on 110/80/17 and 130/70/17 tyres at the front and rear respectively. Braking duties are taken care by 263 mm disc at the front and 193 mm disc at the rear, both petal shaped but ABS isn’t present. The Ninja RR has a 11-litre fuel tank and a kerb weight of 151 kgs.

Expected price under Rs 2 lakh. A 250cc bike which uses a single-cylinder engine. Till now the Ninja 250 was only available with a parallel-twin motor which pushed prices upwards. With a single-cylinder mill, Kawasaki will be able to price the Ninja 250 very aggressively. Mono which means single signifies the engine configuration of this new green machine.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono revealed in Indonesia

                              News Approved & merged.

Rumors have been circulating since a lot of time, but its almost final now. The weight figure of 151 kgs is just right for performance. However, I'm doubtful of the abovementioned tyre size, let's see what the final version comes with...

And although looks are subjective, but I actually like this headlight look better than the 2010 Ninja 250R.
What grabbed my attention specially is its claimed wheelbase:- only 1330 mm. This is almost equal to Apache RTR 180. If true, than this bike surely will corner better & more responsively at city level speeds than '10 Ninja 250R, like a faired hooligan.

It will sell well though. Its powerful, its a 250cc, it comes with Kawasaki reliability, and in Kawasaki colors, plus its price is expected to be lesser than Ninja 250R.
