Yea, but bikecrazy in wht all respects did it beat all other bikes.
Beemers got power but its unlikely to beat R1 in straight road speeds.
still wondering abt it.

as i said its not all about straight line speeds or out and out acceleration..they look at bikes which can do everything.. from sports riding to off road to just commuting to touring.. the beemer can do all that .. the R1 cant..

Nothing beats a beamer in being a all-rounder...their reliability is awesome & no wonder most long distance tourers like to ride on them usually...speed & power is adequate...to me the looks r pretty radical & I welcome vanguard stuff...& hell, I have hardly come across any dissatisfied owner of a beemer!
Way to go BMW...& thnx for the info bikecrazy...
