Default Bike Expo at Lyon!

Salon du 2 roues, Lyon, organised their yearly Bike Expo on the 6th, 7th and 8th of March. This event was covered by our agent in France, Mme Valérie HONORE. As some of you already know that she had also attended the Stunt Performances organised to embellish the Expo as is presented in the link below:
Stunt Performance at the Lyon Motorcycle Expo

Mme Valérie HONORE graciously gave us the photographs of the Bike Expo as well to be shared with the members of xBhp. I resized the photographs and am posting them here for the benefits of the members. Some of the long awaited bikes were on display and for sales like the 09 R1, the 09 Vmax, the ALL new GLADIUS, a unique full Carbon-Fibre Monster from Ducati amongst others...

ENJOY!

The Vmax

Midnight Star

No Prizes for this one:

The much awaited and ALL NEW GLADIUS

Ms Valérie's Favourite haunt at any Bike Expo

The Unique Full Carbon-Fibre Monster

The Photographer on her Favourite Machine

The Regal Harley Davidsons

Which Bike?

My heartfelt thanks to Mme Valérie HONORE who spent her time, energy and effort to cover this event and send these photographs to us for the biking community of India in general and xBhp.com in particular. She is in the process of graduating from 125 cc to higher capacity motorcycles. My felicitations on her crossing her first 1000 kms last month. Though she may never ride a Vmax in her life (though who knows) but she is definitely intent on discovering the pleasures of motorcycle riding.

All Photo Credits: Mme Valérie HONORE.

Topic Approved.

What awesome pictures! Our agent Mme Valérie HONORE has been doing a tremendous job of sharing information and pictures with us; really grateful to her for this.

Do thank her from all of us here. Lovely! I feel breathless everytime I see the 09'R1. Marvelous (although more pictures of the same would have been awesome)! That rear looks SO good.

Thank you for sharing. Also, it's good to see people are actually allowed to touch, feel and SIT(!!) on the machines. Wish this was the case in our country. Perhaps, someday, may be 100 years down the line!

EDIT:

I would love to know what photographic equipment does she use to shoot all the pictures that you have been sharing with us. Seems like some very good lenses.

Thanks for the speedy Approval. Oh yes, some people do not like that R1 rear.

You are allowed to sit and feel and touch these machines coz that is the only way that you will know what and how it feels like before even thinking about going for an order wherein you will take a test ride. You come with me to France and I will make you test ride the motorcycle of your choice for 30 mins. As many motorcycles as you want. Brand new.

I will try to find out her equipment. From what I can remember, I think she uses a Pentax.

ps; Could you please correct Lyon with a capital L? Thanks.

All these pictures just made my till-now-dull-n-boring-day much more livelier!

Strangely, among all the beasts, I found a strange attraction towards the humble Gladius.

Thank You, Mme Valérie HONORE and Ken.

I know there are many who do not like that rear. But that is perhaps the best rear I have ever laid my eyes on! The whole machine, from front to the rear looks absolutely out of this world to me. NOTHING else matters!
