Its aggressive lines and sophisticated visual broadcast sports and strength. The engine, with expanded cubic capacity, providing more exciting driving and performance both in urban use for daily transportation, as roads for the leisure end of the week. These are just some of the attributes of CB 300R, which comes to extend the performance of Honda in the segment of medium capacity and meet demand from fans of the CBX 250 Twister, and users of CG line seeking greater differentiation and development, and new Honda fans of the brand and the world of two wheels.

According to research conducted by Honda, throughout Brazil, there were great expectations on a new motorcycle brand with the appearance of greater size and which provide even more adrenaline. Based on the desire of users, the Honda has developed its new representative in the category "sport street naked."

The first wish was included with the application of significant ways, inspired by the top models naked world. The second was possible with the adoption of an engine with larger cylinder. Perante suas principais concorrentes, a CB 300R se destaca por ser a única da categoria com propulsor de 300cc, com duplo comando de válvula no cabeçote, e por utilizar sistema de alimentação por injeção eletrônica de combustível PGM-FI.

Striking design

The CB 300R is modern and aggressive lines, highlighting its robustness. Adopts the concept of "street fighter", which conveys strength and lightness in the front on the back, without careen and with the engine exposed. His sport is also favored by items such as tip and protector of the stainless steel exhaust, fender lines and aerodynamic environments, wide tires and light alloy wheels, with five double spokes.

The whole front, with aerodynamic shapes, gives the identity marked CB 300R. The headlight reflectors with multifocal ensures good visibility night, with a greater area of illumination and lower rate of dissipation. Your careen, more modern and sports, is integrated into the joint and increases the feeling of the big motorcycle.

The fuel tank has pronounced lines, creases and curves that maximize the robustness. Capable of storing 18 liters of fuel (with three spare), offers great autonomy and practicality in long trips and gives excellent fit to the legs of the pilot.

In the rear, the model has light and exclusive rabeta shorter and thin, which reinforces its lightness. The seating on two levels provides better ergonomics, ensuring both the comfort of the pilot as croup. For the latter, there are also new handles in aluminum, with aggressive form, which complement the design of the motorcycle and provide more comfort and safety.

The ergonomics for both the pilot and for the hip, was improved. The height of the handlebars was slightly high, improving the comfort without the loss of sports, and the legs of the pilot have better fit with the tank, increasing the pleasure in driving. For the hip, the position was high thanks to the new seat, leaving the passenger in a situation more comfortable.

With 143 kg of dry weight, the model has relation between length, width and height of 2085 mm x 745 mm x 1040 mm. The distance between axles is 1,402 mm, while gives the seat height and 781 mm of soil is minimum distance of 183 mm. The angle and the trail of varieties have been modified, providing more agility to the motorcycle.

300cc of pure adrenaline

The engine DOHC (Double Over Head Camshaft) with two control valves in the head, monocilíndrico, four-stroke with four valves and the radiator with engine oil, now has 291.6 cm3.

The increase in cubic capacity compared to the propulsion engine of CBX 250 Twister (249 cm3) gives the motorcycle speed in urban driving and superior performance on the roads.

As the torque increased from 2.81 to 2.48 kgf.m kgf.ma 6,000 rpm, representing an increase of approximately 13%, the power went from 24 hp to 26.53 hp to 8000 rpm to 7,500 rpm, increasing approximately 10.5%.

The modern food system PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) was developed by Honda. This, combined with the catalyst installed in the exhaust of the motorcycle, makes the model meets the Promot 3 (Control Program for Air Pollution by motorcycles and similar vehicles), at levels well below those set by legislation. While the established limit is 2 g / km of carbon monoxide (CO), 0.3 g / km of hydrocarbons (HC) and 0.150 g / km of nitrogen oxide (NOx), the CB 300R emits 1.309 g / km CO, 0.076 g / km of HC and 0.096 g / km of NOx.

In addition to contributing to the preservation of the environment because it allows lower emission of pollutants, the electron injection allows a smooth operation of the engine, progressive and linear acceleration, immediate response and control of the throttle more smoothly and comfortably. This is possible due to the presence of oxygen sensors, the throttle position, atmospheric pressure, air temperature and engine speed, and inclination, which provide important information for a proper functioning in any situation.

All resistant

The new chassis, the type semiduplo cradle tubular steel, provides excellent resistance to kinks and steerability. The model is equipped with electric start and battery sealed maintenance-free periodic.

The front suspension, the type telescopic fork with 130 mm of travel, and the rear of monoamortecida type with 105 mm of travel, provide stability and comfort. The brakes, front disc with a diameter of 276 mm and double-piston caliper and rear drum with a 130 mm diameter, frenagens provide accurate and secure and were perfectly sized to the characteristics and performance of the motorcycle.

The CB 300R uses wide tires and sport low profile, type 110/70-17m / C in front and 140/70 - 17MC in the back, ensuring stability, traction and grip. The aluminum wheels of five double spokes and 17''have exclusive design, enhancing the sport of model.

The panel is more complete: and modern sports, takes the trend of superesportivas (CBR) and is composed of a tachometer pointer in combination with speedometer, odometer and total and partial label of level of fuel in the display, and indicator lights of the injection electronics, "neutral", loud and light signaling.

The motorcycle also has a Honda Protection System, composed of shutter-key (with key lock enabled additional hex combinations and magnetic) and comb-lock (locks handlebars combined with the ignition key).

Available in colors black, red, yellow metal and silver metal, the CB 300R has forecast sales of 50 thousand units by December 2009. His public suggested price is U.S. $ 11,490.00 (based on State of São Paulo) and does not include freight and insurance expenses. The warranty is one year with no limit on mileage.

Predicting the arrival of network utilities: 2nd. half of June, 2009.

That would be too much. That's almost equal to the R1's price, in fact more.

and guys, this bike maybe the need of the hour, but NOT FUTURE. It definitely would be a repeat of the Karizma Story, 5 years from now ...

Think about it, 5 years down the line we would have better bikes with more power/ technology ... Won't it become like Karizma by then (Old Slow Horse compared to competition)? Think it ...!

So guys, NOT for India is what I foresee ... Anybody disagrees? Do reply ...
