INTRODUCTION
During the month of December, 2009, xBhp conducted the first ride of its kind ride to introduce newbie/rookie riders into touring with the criteria of Safe Riding as the essential element of the entire exercise. This exercise was conducted on November 29th and November 30th, 2009, during which a number of aspects of Motorcycling were studied, experimented and put into practice, namely, night riding, city riding, highway riding for long hours, riding in the cold, hill riding for long hours and even off-road practice on established Rally stages! And in all of this, the underlying motif was to Ride Safe with proper riding gear.
Continuing with the same trend, last weekend (April 10 - 11th, 2010), the second RIDE SAFE tour was conducted whereby a bunch of experienced riders rode to Naldehra, Himachal Pradesh.
The route which the group took while going to Naldehra was the following:
Delhi - Sonepat - Panipat - Karnal - Kurukshetra - Panchkula - Pinjore - Kalka - Parwanoo - Dharampur - Barog - Kumarhatti - Solan - Kandaghat - Shimla - Dalli - Mashobra - Naldehra.
Return journey was done through the following route, thanks to Kurt:
Naldehra - Basantpur - Dhami - Shalaghat - Arki - Kunihar - Sabathu - Dharampur - Parwanoo - Kalka - Pinjore - Panchkula - Kurukshetra - Karnal - Panipat - Sonepat - Delhi.
