The strawbery halwa was the best... the red colored one with lot of nuts

                      Route: Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam-Thrissur-Kozhikkode-Kannur-Kasargod (NH 47,SH 69 and NH 17)

                      Riders: Aneesh,Smijith,Midhun

                      Rides: Silver C-350,Maroon C-350,Silver Thunderbird

Day 1The odo before the start

                      Kollam Clock tower

                      Bikes

It was a 15 minute break and we took off. Next stop was decided to be in Ambalappuzha. We wanted to see the Ambalapuzha Sreekrishna Temple. Took some pics enroute.

It was meant to be a pic of sun rise...

                      Temple

                      Bikes in front of temple

                      The Krishna Temple

We continued with the ride and reached Alleppy. From there got into the Aroor Bypass and it was a pretty good ride till Ernakulam. Road was good and more over wide.

                      A pic of Toll Plaza

We rode past the toll gate and reached Ernakulam. The road became busy by now. It took as half hour to reach Edapally from the toll. It's hardly 5-10km, I don't know exactly.

By 10.00 am we stopped to have the breakfast at Edapally. It was a decent enough hotel with parking space. We had our breakfast while the bikes enjoyed the short break.

                      The food was pretty good.

After a well spent 30 minutes break we hit the road again. The sun was out and it was hot and humid. Even a second halt at the traffics had us sweating. We rode and finally were out of the traffic. We took the NH 47 to Thrissur.

A brief stop on the highway But hey, why the rush. We were in no race and more over we were enjoying the ride!!!Oh GOD, We have to SAVE TREES!!!!

                      Some pics from Pooramparmbu

Getting a power nap!!!Raring to hit the road

We were now moving along the SH 69. The roads were narrow, but not much of traffic and with some help from local people and signboards we entered into NH 17 some way before Kuttipuram. About some half hour hour more into the ride we reached near Baharatapuzha Bridge. It was 2.30pm and just when we thought of having food, saw the KTDC Aaaramam hotel. We ordered the food and it took them a while to deliver. But the food was worth the wait.

Bharatapuzha Bridgethey own this road and we have no right to ride through here. The waves smashing against the rock, the moon shining and water dazzling in it...

Thunderbird in silver looks great than other colors... Also with the backrest removed it has some wildness to its look..

The NH 47 connecting Ernakulum and Palakkad was a breeze to ride
You mean, the roads are fixed from Thrissur-Palakkad?

Also, what's the road conditions from Kollam-Karunagapally-Alapuzha-Sherthala?
