Default Ride To Gingee Fort - Chennai xbhpians

Ride To Gingee...

It was all started when Nishant and Dhinesh came up with sudden plan and everyone started showing interest towards the saturday ride, Most of the senior guys we miss due to work other personal reason.
Till last minute sri also not confirm whether he will participate in the ride or not, But finally he turned up.

Saturday Morning-Bhogi:

As mentioned by Ganesh,We dedicate this day to lord of smokes
The metting point is near to my home and I was pretty comfortable woke up late geared up and started my ride, Engine was cold but still he started with one press.Reached bus stand within 10min and waiting for others and while I waiting, New members came Raj and Rakesh they introduced themselves and in the mean-time sri and bharat also came and I am so glad sri turned up.While we waiting for others sri spoke about the hands on experience with Ninja and around 5:45 Nishant and Dhinesh reached.

And Nishant informed us that sunny waiting for us near crescent college- Vandalur, so we guys started getting ready and Raj asking about some stupid question to bharat whats your mileage, I was like omg again people started but bharat was so cool and replied donot ask about the mileage He he and in the mean time sri asked me to give instructions to the newbies. And I was look like Writing my Math exam later sri itself started giving instructions to the newbies and we started from there around 6am.

Sri Giving Instruction to the New members.

Me and Dhinesh Took some few snaps and I was asking why the picks are blur and Dirty, He explained because of the dew or moisture in the air explained beautifully, I was like omg such a noob I am

We reached crescent college and Introduce myself to sunny I was so happy to meet him and He said WHERE THE F___ IS PERUNGALATHUR Everyone started laughing and later we started moving towards chengalpattu.Everyone riding at good pace and we reached Toll gate in no time. [ saw to SBK Yamaha R1 and Yamaha MT 01 ] Near the Toll gate I stopped everyone and asked sri who's gonna be the lead and sweep and again he gave small instruction to everyone.sri was still concern about his bike having same issue like before kinda choking while he go above 85km But He replied with Positive note

Near the Toll Gate

After we decided who's gonna be the lead and sweep, we started from there and riding at good pace and I stopped at few places to take some snaps and later I catched up with others.

Fog Combined With smoke.

Sunrise

And after around 50km of ride we stopped for Butt break and the place was so beautiful.car's private bus everyone maintaining the speed around 100km there are all passing us Whizz Whizz..

After the Butt break, we started and maintaining around 95 to 100km.Sunny and Bharat zoomed off as if we are going around 20km and I though of catching up with them but I just laughed at my ego and said "Buddy those are SBK" so better we maintain what we are doing right now and my Ride also nodded his head.

Later after some few 30 Odd km sunny stopped us for breakfast we went inside the hotel and it was look like marriage mall, we seated ourselves and everyone starred at us and one kid came and ask are we guys are racers, I thought of explaining about what we are doing, What we implement. But no times for that Am starving so Rukesh said in one Word No we are not

So we waited for like 5min later came to know that buffet meal system
Grrr.. Am already starving and later Dhinesh gave us chalan for the Food and the next thing we are doing- standing in queue For Food.

I stopped Rukesh before eating to take some few snaps for Food photography contest and I took snap of his food because he arranged neatly he he Food was pretty ordinary and complaining to sri that there was no cashew in pongal

After the Breakfast we started and after few km we enquire about the route and took a right cut, There we go we entered the village road and everyone started starring at us as if we invaded their village and few Good things happen in this Village the entry road towards gingee shows no entery but cops open the barrier gates and told us to go ahead I showed thumps up towards one of the cop and he laughed at me

After few km again one we need to take left at that time everyone went before myself and I was waiting for Dhinesh at that Two old grandpa's said to me be-careful Guys I was so happy Because the reason behind " He didn't ask me where we guys from" " What is the cost of the bike" " What's the mileage" " Are we racer's" " Are we coming for cinema shooting" Not those kinda nonsense just said Pathu Ponga and I replied ok Thatta.

I waited for like 5 min Dhinesh didn't turn up so I started catch up with others and overtook sunny told him to stop and everyone stopped and waiting for Dhinesh.Later Dhinesh came and told that he was waiting for Sri.But Dhinesh didn't notice sri was leading from front.

While we waiting for Dhinesh

So from there we started and the usual sunny and Bharat zoomed past us and myself, Raj and Dhinesh maintaining good speed and others coming behind us lead by Sri.

While we three guys started thinking to accelerate more on off a sudden huge path hole Somehow we managed and for a moment heart is in mouth and Raj was like Thadak thadak thung thung.
After that we reduced the speed drastically and I was thinking about the path hole all the time and was so cautious after that apart from this Govt bus drivers and Suma etc overtake in single lane and give us nightmare all the time
Later sunny told us to stop for few snaps the place was so beautiful so we guys stopped and relaxed ourselves, We have all the in the hand nothing to loose relaxed ourselves and took few snaps.

More to come

Hi Avinash, request you to kindly resize your pictures to maximum 900 pixels longest edge as these pics are too big and painful for those who have smaller screens.

Everyone Went and I was left Behind so again started going towards up thinking inside my heart I can do it and reached the top and took few snaps Yippie..

Started my journey coming down from the fort, It was pretty easy but my legs were shaking not because of fear because of tiredness.I was very careful each and every step and finally reached the ground
