Day 2 – 22nd & 23 Jan’12 (Touring & Stunting Session)

290 Kms + 44 Kms > Saputara to Colaba (Via Saptashrungi Gad)

Route – NH3 (185 Km) – SH17 (40 Km) – SH23 (71 Km) – SH20 (22 Km) – SH174 (33 Km)



How do I wake up? I can hear pranav n kartik shouting in hotel room, “Let get up Aryan it’s already 10 Am we r late get up dude” I did not know y this guys making so noise? After getting everybody fresh we checked out from hotel and reached in parking lot. Now we having invitation of breakfast on Hill top resort, because kartik family is already in Saputara from 2 days before and they invited all of us for breakfast with them after doing query with local pals and reached in top of a hill which called table top, around 1045hrs we are in front of kartik family (Mom – dad & Uncle – aunty) for next 5 mins our introduction session going on or you all can say “ Hum sab ki class chalu” we felt that kartik dad was bindass but other side kartik mom, “beta tum log aisa kyu karte ho kyu itna lamba bike pe gumthe ho tum logo ko kya milta hai ulta ghar walo ko tension hoti hai” you can say like all parents and pals but same time I replied to kartik mom that, “look aunty just like everybody cook but some lady or girl having more interest in cooking and they searching new way for cooking like that everybody rides bike but we are riders having special interest in bikes n rides so aunty you can understand our feeling I hope so”. Everybody likes my example.

Finally we are on breakfast table and we ordered for tea/coffee and some sandwich for breakfast, after clicking some hill view pics and pics with kartik family and little chit chat session on breakfast table on table top. A nice cup of tea/coffee close to the hill top was enjoyed by all of us as we discussed on today’s plan.
We have planned that we will visit Gira water fall which is 52 Km away from saputara but we got information that there is no water in waterfall so we cancel our plan to go gira water fall now problem came that what to do so we decided that to Saptashrungi Gad in Vani but still we have much time in our watch we don’t want to reach Mumbai so early so we decided to organize some stunting session. After finishing breakfast we went to table top ground and started keep racing in ground enjoyed there for an hour in some power slide, burnout and offroading.

After enjoying there we back to hotel where kartik family was waiting for us and finally after saying tata bye and taking instruction of safe ridding from them we came to saputara lake for some nice clicks of beauty but when we parked our bike everybody started looking to all of us and again same as usual doubtful question by which all riders are aware bcz always they face them while going on rides. Some tourist requested us to click pics with them that time we all felt that we all getting treated like a celebrity , after clicking some pics we left saputara finally at 0130 Pm.
Around 0300 Pm we reached saptashrungi Gad while ridding to Saptashrungi Gad again we riding in ghat section and somehow we felt that the ghat section in saptashrungi was better than kasara ghat…. Over here we got a lot of twist n turns with sharp u turn n zigzag road with crowd of vehicles’ but we enjoyed lot ….. now its time to ride back because now it’s around 4pm and we started feeling hungry so we decided we will take halt for lunch after Vani.

































After crossing Vani we taken Halt on roadside Dhaba for lunch but still nasik was 56 Km far from here so we decided let reach nasik as soon as possible then let visit to Kartik Ex-School Campus (Army School Campus) so we ordered Veg only in lunch mostly enjoyed paneer n Kaju kadi with butter nan.






After having lunch we started riding nonstop towards nasik(Kartik School) but i remember we reached late to campus due to heavy traffic in nashik, when we left campus its almost 8 Pm crossed. Now its big issue that no one of us knw the direct way of exit to NH3 finally we taken help of GPS(ducati) and with the help of GPS we were riding on NH3 soon, taken a little break on NH3 and decided no more halt then after kasara.

FINALLY ITS TIME TO SAY BYE-BYE TO EACH OTHER



Last Halt on HIGHWAY Hotel after ghats now we started pulling the way because i remember that i having night shift in office from 0001 AM so now we riding towards mumbai without any stop but due to cold finally we taken one more halt at Sairaj Dhaba, Bhiwandi Around 2305 Hrs and had some tea and bajiya...... Finally we crossed thane-Nasik toll naka traffic and said tata bye- bye to Each other and after that i reached office directly after ride around 1230 Am.
