Hi Guys ,

I dont have any exp of writing trip logs.just trying one.

BIKE : Pulsar 180 v3.
distance : 580 each side
Time : 12 hrs each
break : stayed in hyd for 15 days before moving back.
Milege : 45 kms/lit
Avg driving speed : 70 - 75
Narrow escapes : 0
Road condition : 80% two lane roads out of which 20% was bad and 10% screwed.

It was a very general day at office when my Boss called me and offered me to go to Hydrabad for two weeks for some official purpose.this was a welcome break for me.That very moment the idea of driving all d way to Hyd started itching me.I shared it with my boss and to my wonder he had big smile on his face rather than astonishment.Then it was found that he had done kerela to mumbai on his car several times.
What could have been betr than this.He told me to get Petrol Reciepts and he wioll get it re-imbursed under travelling allowence.I was like...wow....Free Gift
Next two days were like planning for the trip,bought a colt and a spiker,got mah bike serviced at castrol bike Zone.I must tell the service there was vry good.
Just before the D-day mishap STRIKED.A production issue popped in(ofcourse not me but the software that we hav developed)
I worked till 1 am in the night ,went back home at 1:30am.
Now started packing for the trip.

some essential items : Bisleri,first Aid,bike docs,licence,A slip with detailed point of contacts in Pune and Hyd(plan B >> in case of accident).

Sep 27:

4:00 am] mounted the luggage on mah bike.Was very excited because had never done a trip with all these riding gears.it was giving me a feel of more responsible nad mature tourer.Headed directly towards Solapur highway(NH 9).



LATST MINUTE CHECKS.


5:00 am]

Reached race course and headed towards toll gate NH9.To my surprise the road was pathetic.there was long queue of truckers.Being a biker I had the privillege of bypassing them.
They were like .why cant we go.////Just a few miles ahead i hit the 4 lane road.it was superb drove at 80-90 for next 30-40 kms.Then again it was a 2 lane road with hell lot of path holes.i was really worried,how will I make it if its gonno continue same way.
Stooped at a tea stoll.A curious guy started chatting wid me.Ingured about mah jacket n all.Then he headed away his destination (Sholapur)

Wen I took out money to pay for my tea..i came to know that he had already paid.When ppl with same intrest meet frndship stikes so fast.////

6 -6:30 am] Reached a place where there was big water body beside the road.(somewhere before Bigwan) .It was the most pleasent part of the ride.cold breeze was flowing around.could feel the warmth of the early rays.then saw the most b'ful morning of mah lyf.



Bas aur trip log nahi likh sakta...bore ho gaya...

Biker Embedded Into Bike,Being the solo rider no 1 was there to take mah photo except mah ZEPHYR(mah bike).i guess she did it well.

The road is ok.Two lane 80%.there are areas with lots of pathes.ok for solo ride not no no with pillon.
unless you have some work in HYD I would say betr opt for Mumbai b'lore or Mum- goa coz there isnt much to see around.only b'ful sight is the Dam before Bhigwan(120kms from Pune).nevr the less if ur a tourer u'll njoy every minute of the move.

route : Mumbai - Pune NH4 then take NH9(it starts somewhere near Camp) it directly connects to HYD.

Time : 12 hrs for 540 kms(highway to highway).
Stops approx)
1st : 140 kms (15 mins)
2nd : 250 Kms(20 mins)
3rd :325 (10 min).
4th : 400(10 min)
5th : 450(10 mn)
6th : 520(5 min)
7th reach the destination.
There were a few 2-3 mins susu n water brk apart from above.
As the road is two lane I lost a lot of time braking /accelarating.even after maintaing 70-75 most of the time I could hardlay manage avg of 50 kmph.

Al d best 4 ur trip....
