Glad you liked it Guys , here you go...
Have the put the route in the first post.

The Black Stallions up and ready for the assignment.

And there are loaded as well.

We wanted to leave early in the evening by 5-6 pm reach Haveri and hit the sack. But plans are nothing but things not be followed. We started at 9.30 pm after having some food. First 200 kms till chitradurka would be breeze anyway we wanted ride till Haveri to a minimum. After Tumkur, many streches of the 4-6 laner had these bright reflectors on all lanes!. With my HID glowing more of them, it was like riding in a VDO game. Especially curves with 4 lines of these!

Once after Chitradurga, we now have to ride the famous bad strech of the Iron Butt attempts. Potholes, deviations, dust you name it. Good that it wasnt raining. Got hungry and stopped at a Dhaba at 2 AM. It was surreal environment. No customer at the dhaba, with sudden appearance of fog, the headlights of vehicles looked like jaint blobs reflecting of the fog. Hot hot Roti, Dhal, Anda Bhurji and Omelete it was. Really tasty there were.

Passed few towns and din feel like staying any were. This road not being a regular tourist route does not have proper/many hotels on the way. We took lots of breaks. Since i got out after long time i was actually enjoying even the bad roads, sleepless ride. Then we decided the ride through the night and rest at Yellapur itself.

5am by the time we reached Haveri. The roads got to the fast 4 laners and we missed the left turn to sirsi. Realised it only after 20 kms. Stopped for tea and checked the map. There appeared a route going from shiggon to Yellapur via mundgod. Well its even more interior route so we shall take it.

The day was breaking just as we entered the deviation. After some time we had to stop. Early mornings are good any place but this road felt special in the wee hours of morning. And especially after our full night ride. It was nothing less euphoric feeling.

Found some strange bird afar, tried to shoot it with max zoom.

Some Curious village kids.

It was to be like 50-60 kms to yellapur this interior route and we stopped every now and there for clicking. Me catching the Sunrise.

Arun too trying to capture the moments.

A village elder obliging for a pic.

Arun found a dam sort of place and climbed up.

Me not to be left behind. It was an awesome lake covered in mist.

These are the real users of this road.

The cattle getting pampered early in the morning.

After a few kilometers we were surprised to find a Tibetan Refujee camp. There were quite a few Lamas there. This road not visited by tourists, these ppl actually found us out of place. We thought it was not polite to click pics of them so move on but not before taking pix of the monastry from afar.

We were going on and on with roads getting good and bad in turns. Felt like a ride in the forest. We did not see any vehicles more than two wheels in this road.

ZMAs out numbered!.

After some distance the road just ended! A villager then pointed at a path to cross and this is what we had to do.

At least the small bridge was very strong!

Now Arun's turn.

This was because:

Yes the bridge is gone instead of repairing it, they made this small bridge. If any one had come in car they had to go all the way back to NH some 30-40 kms

Found a lake and yet another early morning clicking opportunity for us.
You can take the horses to the water but cant make em drink

Arun the Motographer.

Lotuses on the lake.

We reached Yellapur by 8.30 in the morning covering some 440kms. Checked in to the only decent hotel in the place. Hotel Sambhram. Before i take a break check out the TV. Some innovative soul had used the TV as the mosquito coil stand .

Next up sathodi falls. To be continued......
