You are one lucky fellow Praveen, just whizzing away on your bike for touring. I am not so lucky yet, but do manage a small trip each weekend. Love the cam's output...it's really nice. All the pics are crisp and clear, specially the ones inside the forest on the trails. I have opted to go for Canon SX100/110 IS coz it's got manual focus in addition to the H10's features. Hope it turns out good.

What saddle and tank bags are you using, BTW? They don't look like Cramster.

Situations do keep us away for the road. I hit the road after a long time as well. When u get the chance just hop on the bike and ride on

dunno about luck, just went when things worked out.
the pix are crisp cos i sharpened all of em while post processing.
Canon SX100 is a direct competitor for sony H10 both in price as well as functionality. 110 must be new 1. Some benefits of sx100 over h10 is that, u can put NIMH batteries, spare batteries are cheap, memory cards are cheap, the auto focus, more intutive UI. The main reason i got H10 was the bigger 3 inch LCD. Which will good when my old man uses the cam. Plus h10 looks bettor
Both the bikes are shod with cramster saddle and tank bags only

Thanks ravi, due to the night ride we saved a lot of time and could visit lot of places in leisure. Most of the pix needed post processing. Some how not happy with the direct out put.

Looks are definitely better for the H10. But LCD? Not anymore!! The SX110 is Canon's upgrade over SX100 and has got a 3" LCD. I am trying to source it from Canada in December. Can't wait.

Thats great Sunil! tad too late for me...

To continue...

Get up next day with a huge headach! yeah a hangover. The place quite crowded, hot and cant even find simple food near by. Quite a contrast from cool beachside from the previous day. Pack and and leave towards gokarna by 11 am.

This road carved out the mountain nearing karwar..

the long bridge following

some fishermen activites

ships at karwar port

After riding leisurely in the hot sun, we reach gokarna town by 1 pm. Now we thought what if there are no rooms at SeeBird resort? Badly needed a nice place to rest. Arun called up the resort and yes there is room. Jolly good that what we needed. Nice comfort after staying at crappy places.

After freshening up and a sumptuous lunch we head out for the om beach two up and light. Then wanted to take a picture of me with the bike here cos..

Had similar pic of me on my cbz 4 years back at the same place. Which in that case also was my first multiday trip on the new bike of around 5k on the odo!

Arun really liked this bike parked at the om beach. Honda XR750.

Om beach..

Lost in the text

Collorfull ppl on the rocks..

sunset at om beach..

more colours..

A father and son making life time's memories

the gold

this is how u take a self potrait

sun set pix

Arun finds a spot on rocks where we could watch the day light fade...

Fisherman doing his thing

nice view point isnt it?

evening sky..

this pic is around 8 pm! a long exposure shot

Long exposure shot of the om beach from where we were perched..
the glow on top of the hill was actually a light from a vehicle moving.

While walking back, this guy actually banged onto my leg mid flight!

Got back to our room. We had to get home the next day. Since i did not want to have a hangover like a good buy i just stuck to a quarter of a rum

....

It wasn't my fault at all. Hit me by the knee. It was the size of 4 inches. He got stunned and lay still for quite some time. Me and Arun took like 20 pix each before he got fedup and hopped away. here... Arun got a bettor shot of him...
