hmm.. not much actually except you hit Jaipur. You can try out Sariska Tiger Reserve, Sultanpur Natl Park. But both are not exactly on NH8. Better would be hit Jaipur & spend a day there. So many places to visit there if u havnt been there or not in recent past.

Nice intro there!

There is not much to visit on the road other than the Toll plazas and the numerous dhabas and exhaust fumes of ill-tuned trucks. But ofcourse if you wanna go off course... then there is Bala Qila, Neemrana, Samode Palace etc. You can google them all.

But if you do manage to finish all the way till Jaipur, then it is much more worth visiting Jaipur since you have never done it before. And do the others some other time on some other trip.

+1 to that.

Ride like the wind, and you'll be there in three hours

The highway is mere detail man. Don't plan for alternatives for jaipur

Rightly said there. The Highway is awesome. No bad stretch except when you approach small towns. Be careful as ppl tend to pop in front of you suddenly. Been to Jaipur this 25th Dec. It is best time to visit this time. Try to leave by 0630 or 0700. You can hit Jaipur in 3 hrs if u want. Dont forget to take pics in the Highway.

If you plan to complete NH8 then you will land up in Mumbai

Okay jokes apart, honestly, rip hard and head straight to Jaipur, you just cant get any better place.

Of course...how can we forget the adventures while going to Bal Qila . And Sariska too is near Alwar. But, there is nothing interesting in Sariska. Neemrana is a good bet though.

Yes, Neemrana and Bala Qila would be good places to just take a halt enroute to Jaipur!
