Hey guys, This is Ketan here from Mumbai.

It's been very long since I came back from Goa and then no ride at all.. Infact I couldnt even touch my bike for last few days. Was very busy.

Right now can't think of any big rides because I m saving up for Digi cam.

Rs. 18000/- or so..

So just thought of a smallish ride on either of the weekend mornings.

The date is not yet fixed because one of my friends is gonna accompany me with his R15 and he's not yet fixed about his office timings on Sat.
For me Sat morning or Sun morning both are fine.

Thought of posting it here so that if someone from Mumbai-Pune xbhp plannin to go there on Sat/Sun I can meet them.

My plan is very simple.. I'll riding from Mumbai To Amby Valley.
Go to Cloud 9 restaurant on top of the hill.
Have breakfast.
Take some rest.
If I have a company, sit n chat for sometime.

Then leave for Mumbai.

May even think of having lunch at tony da dhaba or some other place on Mumbai-Pune highway. To be decided then n there..

The destination is not imp here, it's the joy of riding and enjoying beautiful roads of amby valley and Mumbai Pune highway.

If anyone is planning similar thing or is interested to accompany me from Mumbai..are welcome..

Well actualy as I read on ur thread, u people r goin der for lunch..n it may get late..
My lunch plans r not sure as if i go on 18th i'll hav to b back home before evening cause I hav a G2G in Mumbai with Mumbai biker's club. It's been long since I met those guys so dont want to miss that G2G..

But i'll try my best to catch up with u guys if i leave on Sun morning...

@ aman.. I thought of bringing up this topic in xbhp offline meets.. but this wasn't actualy a G2G...
Also for me.. it's a ride.. even if it's just 100kms one way... I thought tourer is a section where all ride related threads r put in..

Mods if m wrong plz suggest the appropriate thread..

@Aman: I think Ketan has replied to your query in a nice and fair way.

This isn't a get-together per se, and this isn't "off-topic" AT ALL! So, the only place left for such shortish rides is the 'Tourer' section where we all put up details about the rides we are planning/ or have done, etc.

So, 'The Tourer' forum is the most logical choice for this thread.

Hey thanx Aryan.. for even further clarifying the doubt..

One more reason that made me post this in this segment is if I get my brother's digi cam then I'll b taking photographs along the way.. So that later on i can share my experiences along with the pics as a short trip log..

Yeh yeh... what can write in a small 200-225kms ride.. but neva know what can happen in a journey..
