Default A K2K Journey…

Hi Bangalorians …

I am planning to do a trip from Kashmir to Kanyakumari starting in the 2nd or 3rd week of August on my Karizma.

I am thinking to take my bike to Delhi in train and from there to ride to Jammu and ride back to kanyakumari in around 20-22 days.

So I am starting this Thread to look for anyone who is interested in joining me. I don’t have a exact plan as if now but planning to start by 16th or 17th of August .

I would appreciate any type of advice, guidance & Support to Bring this Dream to Reality….

Regards,
Tej

If you dont have any other plan ,why not take your bike till Jammu and then to Kashmir and start the trip there so that you can cut some time.

Talking Thanks a Lot for the responses....

As I had mentioned earlier I am planning to take my bike to Delhi and from there ride it to Jammu and from Jammu to Kanyakumari but due to my Leaves now I am planning to take my bike to Delhi and from there to Jammu in train and start from there to Kanyakumari.

If any of you are interested to join me, can do so in Delhi. I will let you know the train timings by End of June of the First week of July.
As the distance from Jammu to Kanyakumari is around 3800-4000km we need at least 12-13 days of hardcore riding.
I am planning to start from Bangalore on 16th of Aug. and reach Delhi on 17th and reach Jammu on 18th or 19th of Aug and Start on the Next day from Jammu to Kanyakumari.
By the mid of June I’ll give the correct Plan of the trip and we can finalize, and my main motive is to Ride from Jammu to Kanyakumari so wanted you people kept informed about that…

Again Thanks a lot for the responses….

@ Abhishek: dont underestimate The 150, I did Leh on the So Called Puny 150 with loads of Baggage/Luggage, touched 110 on way back and the over all fuel consumption was 49km to a litre.
