Are there any hardware markets there? a torque wrench and a feeler gauge should be easy to source there. If anyone needs any yamaha special tools, let me know. i know someone in faridabad who manufactures them for dealerships.

Everything is available in jc road there are many shops which sells only tools on jc road,i have bought almost all tools from jc road itself never been to jubilee park road or sjp road coz too much crowded area and parking space is chaostic
Actually i dont buy tools only from a particular shop, i just walk around to different shops the cheapest quote i pick it up
..
Nithin if you are looking for measuring rings clearance the feeler gauge wont do the job u need a digi micro meter its damn expensive as expensive you can get two brand new bores."Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"

I still won't fancy myself DIY job on MY RX100. Got another RX135, will try all monkey business on that
Trigger for this is the piston rings replacement I had to do on my RX100.
Yeah, our very own xbhp member from Bengaluru aravindaraju (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) gave me a number of a shop on SJP road. Man doesn't he have some attitudeOriginally posted by psycho 98 View PostEverything is available in jc road there are many shops which sells only tools on jc road,i have bought almost all tools from jc road itself never been to jubilee park road or sjp road coz too much crowded area and parking space is chaostic

Anyways, yeah, you are right these things are damn expensive. A good torque wrench he said, would cost me Rs.5500
though it starts at Rs.1000. All depends on the torque specifications though.
Digi micro meter, never heard of that
I think M.S.P auto might have that. Next time I have a bore job to do I will go there.
Tommorrow or Saturday exploring SJP & JC Road for feeler gauges

Finally with my paltry budget I managed to get this:
It's a Sealey 26 Blade Feeler Gauge set. No idea about how good/bad/genuine it is
Got this from Oriental Tools on J.C Road. Enquired about the bore gauge. It costs Rs.6300

Need help finding a tool
I need help finding a source from where I can order Scissor Balancer Gear Holders for a Pulsar.
A search turned up just what I need at the Delhi-based Aamrit Tools website - Scissor Balancer Gear Holder . However, I was not very successful in placing an order with this company.
Can anyone please point me to an online shop where I can order the tools with a minimum of fuss?
(I'm a new member and have given some background about myself in the "Who Are You?" section under the title Greetings from a non-biker.
