Hello All,

I had been on a short trips in my new R15 till Mandya and Maddur in last two weekends.

I would like to know what is the best milage recorded in this forum for R15.

Just after the delivery of my bike I filled in full tank petrol i.e the full tank capacity is 12 litres.

Till yesterday I was riding the bike and was waiting for fuel to reach reserve.
Finally it reached reserve when the ODO touched 597 kms.

In R15 the reserve is 1.9ltr.
So to verify I again filled full tank at shell bunk and could fill in 10.01 ltrs.
I am amazed with the milage with my bike as I am getting almost 60kms / ltr.
So to cross check if this was normal, I called the showroom service section to know what is the best known milage from R15. Service engineer told they have heard maximum of around 45 in city and 50-52 in long distance.

Feeling great with the performance with this bike. with its pinpoint handling and effort less acceleration in city .

Thats one of the best mileage figures i ve ever come across for this bike!! .... i ll be booking my r15 in a couple of days ....i want to know the style in which you rode, that gave u such great mileage figures!
