Default RTR 160 or Pulsar 135ls

Hey guys, I am Debayan from kolkata. This time I am here for my dad, He wants to buy a new bike the one he is using is suzuki samurai the 2stroke one..
he is 5feet 6inches tall..his daily usage will be around 10-15km..He initially wanted to buy splendor but later when I saw the review of pulsar 135 I asked him to buy that one, but more recently one of my cousin brother told me that he could arrange a RTR160 for approx 37.5k from some Vodafone gsk offer,Now my question is will it be okay to go for rtr160 or should we go for pulsar135 that costs around 58k here..

If you are getting RTR160 for 37.K (new ???) then buy one and buy one for me also.

Jokes apart, I would have gone fot the new pulsar. Not only the price is less, but also it has 4 valves, new engine, Ok looks. (I guess you arent talking about RTR160 FI).

assuming that ur dad might not like the sporty seating position of the rtr,i would suggest u to go for p135........
if u can choose out of these 2,u can go for gs150 or unicorn as i would assume ur father won't b looking for a performance oriented bike but one that is comfortable ,reliable, smooth n gives good mileage......

an apache at 37.5k is a jaw dropping price..id say go for it if the apache in question is a brand new one..
EDIT:apache suits well only for people who dont mind the sporty posture and styling..
so get your priorities checked and choose the one..

Wont the vodafone gsk offer work for the P135?

I really do feel the technology going into the P135 is much superior to that on an RTR160 and the RTR160's riding position + extra weight may take a bit of getting used to, i mean it is easier for older people to get back pains... But on the flip side, your dad may feel the P135 to be a power downgrade as compared to his existing ride (which actually it isn't when you get it into the right rev band).. the proverbial "No Problem Bike".

Vodafone GSK is for vodafone dealers or sub-dealers they can buy things with points that they earn when they sell a connection..Now people sell their points too..RTR 160 is available for 15000points..1point generally costs 2-2.25rs so If i assume it to be 2.50rs 37500price comes

Coming to the point, since p135 is not out yet(at least not here),so I am little concerned about its actual performance...I can anyway suggest my father to test ride a RTR,will that be okay??
