Arrow Bull owners please suggest.

Hi All,
I'm currently thinking of owning a bull. my passion has hit my senses to such a extent that me no looking back. i had been to jaynagar royal enfield stores in bangalore. now the dilema.

when spoke to sales executive, i came to know electra 5s and standard has been stopped production. .

I need to choose from either classic 350, classic 500 or thunderbird twinspark.

Now i personally dunno how the thunderbird is. please pour in your suggestions.

classic 500 is out of reach here in bangalore. 1.47lakhs. which is out of my list. now there are two choices.

Either thunderbird or classic 350. please let me know guys which one you guys suggest.

i travel on a avg of 50kms. hence i feel thunderbird will be a good option. but still since im investinf more than a lakh i need stable bike which can b with me.

absolutely no plans of selling it.

the main question here will be how stable is thunderbird. can i go for it.

please suggest guru's

The thunderbird and the Classic 350 has the same engine, so no comparos on performance wise.

handling part the classic 350 is better. So If I were U, I would go for the classic 350.

If U are so specific on electra 5s, Teknik motors in CMH road has 2 bikes. you can give them a call and check.

As per my understanding, engine is same.. but classic is latest launch.. so better tyres(18")/ better handling, better electricals(All DC), better headlights(55W). And that only in 3 K more over 1 lakhs investment.

just go with your heart dude.. though classic 350 have small advantage. Test ride is the answer to your Quetion.

since u will be travelling for 50kms everyday i wud suggest u buy a CL350 1)The new engine is capable of plying 50kms everyday with least maintainence provided u maintain it regularly 2) U get the retro looks wit a couple of other good technical features. do not go for the Std350 or Electra5s. as u will have to work on the maintainence part more due to ur travelling distance.

The engine is the same for TBTS and CL350 and so are most of the other things
you need to consider your riding comfort. I have a TBTS as I like to ride long (>100 kms on weekends). the riding posture are different for both
CL has a retro feeling and TBTS has more of the cruiser feel
take a test ride of both and choose basing on your comfort

yes in bangalore thunderbird comes at on road price of 1.09lks and classic350 comes at price of 1.16 lkhs. Still after seeing it in showroom my heart loved thunderbird, n mind still confusing me saying go for new model with retro feel.

Now that i have decided to own a bull which model will surely stay in my mind till i take a test ride. i think thunderbird will be more comfortable on empty road for touring.

so i feel my heart is winning the race. will keep you guys updated.

I see 6K difference between CL350 in chennai and Bangalore (on-Road). In Chennai its 1.09Lks. Is the price difference so much ? Also TBTS comes around 1.04Lks here in chennai.

CL comes with wider tyre and a smaller rim at the rear. I dunno if they have modified the sprocket to compensate for the smaller rim. The TBird rides on 19 inches front and rear.

Go for the T-Bird, in terms of a much relaxed poise for cruising and riding long distance.

The CL has a much straighter stance. But T-Drive both to decide.

Yes i booked TBTS. The who was sying he will deliver the bike in 25 days now says 45 days. Neways have to wait for the legend to be parked in my garage.

Yes TBTS cost me 109457/- on road and classic 350 is 1.13lkhs. But for classic 350 i have to wait 120 days or more. still no confirmation whether it will be delivered in 120 days.

classic 500 is again 4 months waiting period. Still they r not sure they will deliver it in this stipulated time. they not ready to give any committment.

Menawhile i have booked TBTS after riding my frenz bike for 30 odd kms. i liked it.

I dont have patience to wait for 4 months for the bike and still they not very sure whether they will supply it. I cant afford to travel in public transport or 4 wheeler to my office daily.

Guys i waiting for the bull. lets hope it gets delivered. waiting with full cash on hand.. :
