Yeah Buddy! gonna stuk with ZMA and wait for some more power from YAMAHA or HONDA. Maybe from TVS-APACHE 220 if they make it a bit bigger on size as well ! BTW the sitting position feel could be for the first timers and i know and agree that the best of engineering has gone into the making of R15

I was on the same boat as you but
the day i rode the R15, i always knew this has to be my 'type' of motorcycle,
the riding position is damn good,
on a HH Karizma you have to be a sedate rider and the R15 is like a maniac two-stroke,

if you have liked the experience of R15 over a HH Karizma, you can't go back
An R15 can go past a Karizma whenever it wants to(the road has to be impeccable though)
Handling--remember the joy of first motorcycle/kiss, it is a revelation of some sorts

and there are guys who complain of low-end torque--would request them to ride R15 a wee bit more and if not liked then stay-off, simple
you will simply love a liquid cooled motorcycle and start hating the acrid smell of an air-cooled if it has been ripped

whether you want to exchange your motorcycles depends entirely on you and for the past 2-3 years there are talks of 250's
power vs torque, take your pick

similar topic exists
Yamaha R15 / HH ZMR

@Shilpriye : Agree with you but then that definitely does not mean i have liked R15 over Karizma. Its just its an excellent bike and a true handler with loads of tech.

Going past others is not my motto. In fact, if i am riding @ say 100KMPH and some P180 overtakes me, I wont bother as i've got nothing to prove to someone whom i even dont know or intend to meet again. But yes i like speed for sure.

Since you have owned a ZMA you must be in know of the TORQUE, the eager output at hand. I like that grunt and still i was thinking of upgrade (150 over 223?) for the sheer tech and handling. Now the prob is they estimate my bike at 55 (consider the bike is just 110 days old) and sell theirs @ double the price. After having spent 83 grand hard cash (hard earned and not easy parents money) I find it tough to manage half lakh again.

and as TNT said..

It's not worth switching bikes that too when you have a bike that is unbeatable and proven in its field! And it's not even old too!! Who knows, if u get the R15, Honda or someone will come out with their 250 which you will ride one day, and then we will see another thread like this ..

Just kidding man.. keep the ZMA-R.
You see, Its just that i am ending up with so much real loss, had i got right deal with ZMA i would have definitely got R15 for the above mentioned reasons.

SO for now, bikes or babes:Bigger the Better. And i'm not talking abt MT01, cause in that case what size you will be dealing in B*b*s category?

i think this sums up pretty well,
you prefer a HH Karizma more than R15

and yes,the price quoted is not great shakes either, i sold my ~15000kms done motorcycle for 61k
