Default HH Hunk or CBZ Xtreme???

Hi All,

I have to decide & choose a bike in the 150cc range today. It'll be one from the above mentioned two bikes. My concerns are.

a) Handling
b) Mileage
c) Reliability/Build (I've read/heard somewhere the side cowl of hunk is very delicate & can't survive even a minor accident)
d) Style

Any help would highly be appreciated & also forgive me if I'm posting an already answered question.

Thanks,
Abhinav

a) Handling no idea here but i feel that the cbz has a good handling
b) Mileage hunk has a good mileage but the cbz wins in power department
c) Reliability/Build (I've read/heard somewhere the side cowl of hunk is very delicate & can't survive even a minor accident) again no idea here
d) Style differs from person to person but i personaly like the hunk's muscular look

Any help would highly be appreciated & also forgive me if I'm posting an already answered question.

my point of view CBZ Extreme is much better than hunk .

although both are same engine hunk has rear nitrox shock n extreme has spring shock .

but if you are a good health guy then HUNK is better choice for you else CBZ is better .......

CBZ extreme is much more reliable than Hunk in every segment.

Before u go for cbz go and ride honda unicorn and dazzler........these two bikes are real value for quality.

Just few more questions . . .How is the mileage said to be better in xtreme?? When they both are equipped with the same engine, same power & almost same power to weight ratio??

The hunk comes with the nitrogen filled suspension I heard but not the xtreme how does that change the experience??

I am 5'6" medium built, not very strong . . .will I be able to handle hunk well???

Thanks again in advance.

my friend owns xtreme and i own hunk we both get the same mileage around 55 kmpl.
The GRS suspension in hunk aids in better handling than extreme.Height and weight is not an issue at all.

someone said xtreme is reliable than hunk it is not so.Both are from HH and both share the same heart so both are equally reliable. This is from my personal experience.

I would suggest you to go to a nearest Hero Honda service center in the morning and ask the CBZ Extreme/Hunk owners about the mileage they are getting. I had a chat with many such people and myself being a Hero Honda Hunk owner, I would say both bikes would give an city average of max 50 Kmpl. You could get max 60 Km pl on free ways ifff you restrict yourself to below 60 Kmph. I find it difficult to keep my bike below 80 on highways!. I am getting 45-50 with my bike in city.

Hunk is 3 kg heavier than Extreme. But that barely produces any difference in both performance and mileage. I have had a race with a CBZ Extreme guy on NH-5 for almost 22 km.The traffic was mild. Both of us were ripping our bikes to the max all the time. We covered the whole distance in about 12 min. The results were very obvious. No one won, no one lost. Hunk was ahead of extreme for some time and then extreme was ahead of hunk for some and vice versa. This kept on continuing through out the ride. At some point of time i found both bikes running parallel but then some truck/car would come in between. In the mean time i found that i was running short of fuel as i had to return back home. I took the first right and returned back. Both of us were maintaining 110+ all the time on speedo. Both have same power and torque specifications. And the gear ratios are also same. Hence the performance is also identical.

I found the GRS on Hunk to be very effective on highways and rough roads. CBZ extreme is easier to maneuver in traffic than hunk.

Its upto you which bike you choose. There is nothing much to differentiate between these two bikes. Take the bike which you find looks good. I wanted to take hunk as i liked it and hence i did. CBZ extreme costs ~1500 bucks more than hunk. I have seen people as short as 5'1 riding both Hunk, Extreme and even Karizma, Pulsar F. 5'6 is quite enough to ride such bikes.

Both are very reliable.

Please dont believe people who post all crap like.. extreme is much more reliable than hunk etc...
