Hi friends i am a software pro. and my age is 23. I am well built (infact 80 kgs)and 5"7 height. I am planning to buy a new bike to replace my HH Passion which has served me for 6 Years.(Gr8 bike IMO). As i googled, i found out the options
1. HH CBZ xtreme 2. Pulsar 150 cc 3. Honda UNicorn And the newest members to add to the list are Hound unicorn dazzler and Hero Honda Hunk. I am looking for a bike with good looks, Best riding comfort(the most important) and good mileage(thts what every one is looking for). Please give your honest suggestions ! Budget 70 k . |

karthikus add 3 more to the list
1. HH CBZ xtreme, better buy Hunk for it good looks. 2. Pulsar 150 cc, good bike, all the gadgets, poor resale value, easy and cheap availability of spare parts. 3. Honda UNicorn/dazzler, personally see it whether u like the look or not, good engine and FE is guaranteed. 4. Suzuki GS150R, all rounder, but low initial pickup(heard not tried). 5. RTR 160, aggressive beast in its class, if only pure performance is required. 6. Yamaha FZS, looks good and overall good bike just a bit pricey in this segment. PS. IMO, try to take the TD before you buy one...all the best and safe biking

K now. I have 3 options ..
1. Honda CB unicorn 2. Dazzler 3. Suzuki GSR 150 Today i went to Honda showroom. I found the dazzler. I felt it was too small for me. It was small when compared to unicorn or other 150 cc bikes ! Also the chain cover was not up to the mark. So i think it wud require some maintenance. Tht worries me .. Any suggestions? |

Go for the GS eyes closed. I'd say that the GS is far More Fuel Efficient, Good looking and Technologically advanced than the others you have listed. The Bike is good for highway use as well, but dont expect it to behave like a track tool. The Top end is mind blowing. Ask for yourself on the GS-150 thread. Take a test ride and check if it suites you.

1. Suzuki GS 150R : Its a good bike with 6 gears, good fuel efficiency, decent looks, and comfortable ride. But service and availability of parts might become a question.
2. Pulsar 150CC : Out of question. Not a good handler, same looks, decent fuel efficiency, bad gearbox, and comfortable ride. Cheap parts and easily available. 3. CBZ Extreme : Weird looks, not so spirited performance, fiber parts get loose easily, good engine, good fuel efficiency, decent gearbox, and comfortable ride. Spare parts easily available. 4. Honda CB Unicorn : Dated looks, best engine, best gearbox, best comfort, best fuel efficiency, power output not good. Costly parts but available. 5. Apache RTR : Back breaking seating posture, engine tuned for good acceleration, suitable for those looking for racing performance, looks are subjective, decent gearbox, bad fuel efficiency. Cheap parts but not so easily available. 6. Yamaha FZ16 : Costly but worth the money, radial tyres give best handling support, macho and different looks, good engine and gearbox, bad fuel efficiency. Get this if you are not that much into Fuel efficiency but want to stand out in a crowd. There is one bike which can give all these bikes a run for their money, performance, technology and mileage. The bike requires good detailed explanation so wont fit in here. Mail me to akash1988@gmail.com for the info on that bike. |

^ and what would that be? Why not talk about it on the forums, building a top secret bike? Please dont tell me it's the FZ upgrade! And FZ is becoming too common these days. It's almost the dream bike of every teen tom, dick and harry. SO i really wont say that the bike stands out of the crowd.
When my friend bought his FZ, All eyes were on him, but people nowadays hardly check it out because it's very popular! Just my 2 cents! |
