Question Confused please bail me out!!

Hi All,

I'm Druva, and i'm new to this forum. I am looking to buy a new bike and my budget is <=85k.

Specifications:
CC >= 150
Decent Mileage
Sporty look
Good performance

Initially i was interested in the karizma, but on inquiring i found out the mileage is really less. So now i'm interested in the apache 160/180. I'm not interested in Pulsar. So now i've left with the choices from the honda, suzuki, yamaha and tvs stables. I will be riding the bike in Bangalore to travel to office. So i'll be travelling ~40 km everyday.

Please advice.

Regards,
Druva

U can go for the apache 180 if u want raw power and dont mind the vibrations and sporty riding position. its a pocket rocket and great fun to ride. FZ gives u great handling comfortable riding position and smooth engine but its mileage will be less than 40 and performance less than rtr180. u can also wait for the rtr160 hyperedge which is due for launch. why not go for pulsar 220?? mileage wud be 35-40. its performance will blow u away. . have a testdrive of all the machines and then decide

I'm interested in keeping the bike for a long time, hence i need a bike which is reliable and efficient. The apache seems to be a good bet, but i'm not sure about the hyperedge model as i feel that buying a bike which has been around for 1+ years would be a better option as its pros/cons would have been found out.

I think the pulsar 220 is a good option, but mileage is very important for me. So please advice me.

Regards

if u place reliability over nething else then go for fz as yamaha engines are known to be extremely reliable. this does not mean that the rtr is a non reliable machine. but i dont know how it will behave after a period of 4- 5 years. but fz wont be efficient. i think u should go with rtr180 or 160.

Pulsar 180 should fit the bill just fine. Also, you can look at R15, if you want good performance

His budget is below 85k

Anyways Dhruv do check GS150R from Suzuki. I think it is an under rated bike. IT looks big, handles nice, good kmpl, and everything you look for...

Apart from that you always have
Honda Dazzler,
Yamaha Fazer
RTR 160
and the all new HH Hunk!!

If not Pulsars, which are very good, you might not look beyond these 5 bikes
