apache 180 or pulsar 220dtsi

Hi guys,
i am planning to buY A bike..But i am very much confused between the apache 180 and the pulsar 220.I dont want to visit the SC frequently..I have heard that the quality of 220 is not that good and the engine refinement goes for a toss after a while.And on the other hand the apache 180 has got a better build quality,and tvs machines are much more reliable that the bajaj.My friend owns a pulsar 220 dtsfi and he has to visit the SC atleast once in 15 days or so..Please help me out guys.
