that is why always prefer riding !

sorry guys for replying so late, actually my laptop had a problem i had to get it repaired, so was not online these days,
Actually i can get it transported from my native(bidar) as volvo and merecedes busses ply from bidar to bangalore, they have an ample space in d luggage portion for the bikes, and there's very less chance of damage as like ccrushed dome and dented tanks, it would be minor scratches near silencer and leg guard.
But i'm thinking of riding it down to here, but if my parents dont allow i've to get it transoertd itself, but i'm KEEPING MY PULSAR, thats for sure!!!!!

If you have never done such a long trip before don't do it, do small trips of 100-200km at a time and get used to touring and later you'll get the confidence to ride 700km +. try getting it sent by train..hassle free

u need to register and get a no plate of bangalore within 11months

not sure but one rto office agent told that you need to pay 14 + 12% in form 14 and road tax am not sure of this BUT 14% FOR SURE
How incorrect, this is only for vehicles which have been brought from outside K.A, and I think there's a new provision where students who come from other states need not get their vehicle numbers changed but can ride here after paying the road tax...not too sure about it though. And I'd like to point out these rules mentioned by SHELROCK can be found in all states of India just that the % being taxed might differ so no point in blaming k.a.

If Volvo or Merc Luxury buses are plying in the route ,then book it in and travel as passenger along with the bike. This way you can ride it to your place after disembarking. The handle bars may have to be lowered to accommodate the bike inside the luggage area.Check with transporter BEFORE you start off. Don't leave it in their godown as small parts are likely to be tampered or pilfered.

Scooter is a nice practical vehicle for daily city use , and I think it's pretty cute & stylish for from students & girls to old farts like me . But I have heard that these newer automatics ( with chain or belt drive ) are troublesome and difficult to service on the road .. .I could do most emergency things on my old bajaj with just my micra and a plug wrench ..Please guys , don't look down on scooterists .
I am also looking for an old lml NV scooter in kolkata ... if anyone has one to sell .. tell me . Sorry for the off topic .
Cheers .
