Hi Friends
I want to buy a USED bike for a year and a half (college commuting et al.) and have zeroed in on :
I'm 5'7" and 62 Kgs... I think I will be looking at a good condition Pulsar 200 (2007 or 08) or FZ (08) or ZMA-R (07 or 08). I have concerns about the mileage of the ZMA-R.. What would be the mileage of each of the three? I want to keep the expenditure low, so what would/should be the approx. prices for good condition USED (2007-08 make) for each of the three? Kindly suggest me which one should I go for? Thanks |

I cant tell you about the other bikes but I would suggest not to go for a used P200. It can be a real pain for maintenance point.

If you are indicating that the parts would be an issue, understand the fact that it is a pulsar, having advantage of interchangeability of parts from 220 and 180. So, I would say if the bike is good the option can be open. |

Dont't go for the fz, Its drinks fuel like anything but wont be giving out much in terms of power.
Select the one which is in better condition out of the other two. P200 is not expensive on maintainance as I own one. It just need little extra time & care. Spare availability is good. Whereas spares for ZMA are hard to find. Performance wise both are almost same. P200 is little better on efficiency point. Now you decide

ZMA-R is a complete package of reliability, looks, power..it won't ask much maintenance like pulsars but if FE is a strict criteria for you then P200 will be a better option for you..though in sane conditions, Zma-R also will return u mileage around 35km/l..FZ won't suit your need..

mostly people sell coz of some problem better buy a cheaper new bike rather than 2nd hand shit bike coz it might stay more in garage than with you UNLESS YOU BUY FROM KNOWN PERSON and mechanic?? THEY ARE ALL MIXED UP....these are words from a second hand dealer that mechanic signal them during check up and after customer leaves they immediately come and take a sum of 1000 or so from shop ur call .... |
