Hello Everyone....
I am from Ranchi, Jharkhand... My dad wants to buy a new bike in a budget of < Rs. 48000...(the bike's onroad price must be less than 48000) M starting a new topic only because the other topics were either too old... of above my budget We have seen the bajaj platina 125 but it feels a bit too lean. It would be very good if u all suggest me other bikes under this very budget... I just want my dad to buy the best. So Please help. |

for the budget you can look at bikes like yamaha ybr 125, star city, and i would strongly recommend you the best and the most reliable of the lot the splendor nxg (good looks, gr8r mileeage and after sales service)
or if you can extend the budget till 50k you can look for honda shine with drum front brakes <50000 no maintenance required amazing vehicle, great mileage around 65-70kmpl.... also you can give the yamaha sz (150 c.c.)a try.... reliable engine and company, better looking(my opinion), showroom price around 49k.....

You can have a look at Discover 100 for it's great mileage & DC electricals.. also Yamaha YBR 110... of course.. Splendor is safe choice.. it's been there for decades now.. but Discover certainly gives more mileage.

but look at this way.. passion plus, splendor, cd-dawn.. all of them use same engine, but they retail at different price points. It's a strategy to have a product towards every possible segment of the market with minimum investment.. you can have CB Twister in the list too.. may be disc brake version goes out of the budget.. but drum version should fall within budget.
