Bike Query Approved

If you are in a hurry then go for Ninja else wait for Honda and test ride before deciding which one to go for.

I guess you haven't booked CBR250 yet, in that scenario I don't see you making the cut before June if CBR250 is your final purchase.

Mods:- We already have enough fights on which of the above two is the best, I am surprised @mods approved this one.

@poster:- Looking at your requirements I would advice you to buy a gearless scooter, am not joking.

Based on your requirements, the CBR250 suits you best. The Ninja has nothing over the CBR inside the city. The only con I can see is the waiting period. The bike is scheduled to launch in April, you may have to wait a couple of months after that.

If you dont mind spending extra cash and want the bike sooner, Ninja is also good but not as much fun inside the city. Plus its not exactly quiet.

The CBR is gonna be quieter compared to the ninja for sure. The ninja is a screamer above 6000 rpm.

This is another potential thread which could go the other CBR topic way.

No one in India has even seen the CBR yet, let alone tried riding it. If you are asking the question, I assume you are going to wait till June/July, so why not ask again when you have some real data to help with your decision?

Right now, the answers will be based on speculation, hearsay and anecdotal stuff.

If you ask me, in the city, a Honda Dio or TVS Jive is ideal.

+1; Gearless scooter

Sorry @Noah, I somehow tend to agree with @bprags & @bluevolt; very practical & experienced advice.
