what is latest in the market that will be more upto date refined no doubts.that cbz extreme. no ifs and buts.honda people are no using good parts and hero honda is using good quality parts.working of engine may be same but quality of parts plays very impotant role in working and maintenance of engine.i purchase honda unicorn in 2004 and service of engine was the worst.i am using automobiles since 1981 but my expirence with honda unicorn engine was the worst.honda unicorn is readly available in my area bharatpur rajasthan, mathura u.p. agra u.p.hero honda cbz extreme is also avaable in ready stock but some dealers are tring to sale their old stocks first that why they are tring to discourge the customers.

I am a newbie on this website.

I want to purchase a new bike and here is my criteria

1.Refined Engine

As both the machines share the same engine from Unicorn, tweaked differently, refinement is almost same. But dazzler being tweaked by Honda R&D team has more edge on refinement.

2.Smooth gearbox

Gearbox also is a bit smoother (but only by an non-commendable difference) in Dazzler.

3.decent mileage

Both the machines will give you almost the same mileage around 50 to 60
.

4.good reliability

Reliability is a not a question for both Hero or Honda. These are the most reliable brands in India, IMO.
+ if your height is above 5'10" and weight is considerably high with good body size, dazzler may look small to you. Handling is better on Dazzler as it has a mono.
Both the bikes are with goodies, but looks are subjective. As I made a research between the two, both of them wont disappoint in any way.
Better take a test ride and decide. Good Luck!

Which bike do you guys suggest ?

Default Help me to finalize on a 150 CC Bike!

Hi guys, this is a very good place for ppl like me to get info on motor bikes! My search for a Bike led me to xBhp! I need your suggestions to finalize a bike!
I have decided to buy a 150 CC Bike. After trying out some of my friends' bikes and researching on the net, I went to show rooms and took test rides.
I have come down to the following options:
1. Honda CB Unicorn
2. Honda Dazzler
3. Hero Hunk

The purpose is mainly for everyday commute (in traffic and bad roads) and occasional long ride with friends.

I want a bike which has good suspension and comfortable to ride (so that I won’t get back pain). And the mileage should be decent enough too.
I really liked both Dazzler and Unicorn when I took them for test rides and out of these two I liked Dazzler a little bit more than Unicorn! Hunk also felt good but not as great as Unicorn.

I am not able to zero in on a Bike! I decided to go for Dazzler a couple of days back but when I went through some of the reviews on the net, about the negatives of this bike like cold start, bad suspension, non-availability of parts, bad after sales service in Bangalore etc., have made me think twice. This would be my first motor Bike and I am very much confused!

Should I just go for the regular Unicorn? (Which is a proven winner since more than 6 years) or should I give another try at Hunk? How’s after sale service at Hero dealers? What about availability of spare parts? Or do you guys suggest me to go for any other bike apart from these?

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated and I will be greatly thankful!

Thanks,
zasch

I've been using the GS150R myself for the last 2 years. The bike is very comfortable for Bengaluru traffic. I ride 60km everyday on some of the worst roads. I get very good fuel effeciency figures too. About the service here in Bengaluru, Suzuki is way better than Honda and Hero. Best of all, you get the keys 2 days after booking. If maintained, you can practically ride it for 20 years!
