Some people may say that both are not good.
But i have to decided to go with the CBZ Xtreme. Just recently hero honda has launched a new version of the CBZ Xtreme with digi console, gas shocks and other extra features (but doesnt have kicker ). But i dont like the design, and i prefer the earlier model. It has created a dilemma, like should i go for the old CBZ or CBZ 2011 for its added features. Is it wise to buy a model that has been discontinued. ?

I dont think "Kick start" is a decision maker anymore, there are loads of R15/FZ owners who have taken this term out of their minds, yet still riding well without any issues.
I would strictly advice you to go with the new CBZ, coz it has more features and remember its an upgrade. Day by day we get advanced tech at a lower cost, In the year 2002 there were only 2-3 bike equipped with disc brakes, today even a 100cc bike comes with it at the same competitive price point. I too remember some exceptions, Like the 1st RTR Apache 160(Without Tank scoops) went on sale during June 2007 . Both Apache 150 and new RTR 160 was displayed that month and people who got the Apache 150 are still happy, while the RTR customers frequented the service center quite often, due to the niggling issue with the 1st RTR. Later corrected with the RTR Refresh (One with tank scoops) and now the Hyper edge. |

I would suggest you to go with the latest version of CBZ. New CBZ has improved a lot compared to the old CBZ X-treme. Headlight is still an eyesore though.

Apart from this i guess it has clip ons and stuff (please correct me if iam wrong) The old one use to look puny, the new ones wide..if a total CBZ fan then this is the new dough!!!!
