Hi Guys
I have been a silent member of this forum for sometime now and searching this for my new bike. I am Saurabh, currently living in Delhi and basically from Patiala. I have zeroed in on RE CL350 and TBTS. I want to use the bike primarily for long rides and some limited city use. I have read through most of the material provided here and in other forums, so won't be asking the technical details. I am aware that TBTS is good for long drives and 350 for city use, and the list goes on...... My confusion is that I am 6 ft tall and having slender built. I have driven electra and TBTS and from what I see my body and built looks better on Classic than TBTS.Can you guys let me know if TBTS is also ok for the slender built guys ? Waiting period is 7 days for TBTS in Delhi and 2-3 months for CL350. Enquired last week in Patiala, they were ready to give CL350 (Silver) on the same day, don't know how...!!! Please give some valuable suggestions to this novice who is seriously planning to buy RE in near future once this problem is resolved. Thanks in advance, Saurabh |

Though am not a Bullet fan but I like the new Classic 500. It has a fatter tyre & supposedly better engine. It's style is quite classic but modern too. It's the only Bullet shich turns my head.

the T-bird is quite comfortable for slim guys. I was a puny 55-60 kgs when i started riding the T-bird.

@ jd666: With due respect I would like to mention that rider's weight or body has nothing to do with riding bike. I am just ~60 kgs and have rode Machismo 500 as well as TBTS. What makes a difference is your eShtyle... ![]() @ sourabhricha: I would suggest don't think too much and get confused. Just follow your heart, ask yourself what is your style? Which beast would you like to ride? I personally like both TBTS (for riding position) and Cl 350 (for clasic looks and upswept silencer), but have booked TBTS just b'coz that's my first love... ![]() But still the call is all yours......

^^ I agree... but when the OP wanted an advise for a machine for a slender built person, my answer was to remove any doubt from his minds. I used to swerve and thrash my T-bird like a damn R15 in traffic.

@Rahul.Gvli: My only confusion is whether classic would be comfortable on long distance (~300-500kms).
I have driven TBTS and Lightening 535 (both borrowed), and they were real pleasure. My first choice is classic though. @Satyamzma: Yes, most probably would go for classic. |
