  • Help me in Choosing One in the below Bike List..

    Hi Frendz,

I'm planning to get a new bike with 150cc & above in between 2 months of time. Here below are my final choices and get me some input to opt 1.

    Yamaha SZ-R
    Hero Honda CBZ Extreme Self
    Hero Honda Hunk
    Honda CB Unicorn
    Bajaj Pulsar 150 cc DTS-i

And below are my constrains & inputs:

Already I'm using Passion plus for past 6.5 years. When i bought this bike, i was weighted around 74kg but now I'm 92kg with 5' 10" height.
Also i m driving ma bike for nearly 35kms & Sundays 30kms inside Chennai city.
Also my budget is max Rs. 75k and about mileage should be average to good (50-65kmpl)

    So provide some input...thanks.

cbz-x dual disc for 76k is the best deal according to me.

CBZ, Hunk and Unicorn share the same engine. Since you've got two months, you can probably book a Unicorn and hopefully, might get it delivered by the end of that time. You can forget the P150, unless the rumours become true and a 4valve engine is launched.

GS-150R would be really good for you. Great comfort, great mileage, butter smooth engine and highly stable. 6 gears is a boon on the highways. Take a TD of this first.

i personally wont suggest u gs150R if u dont have a good dealer nearby. Coz spare part and dealer network is the only issue with gs150R other than that its a pretty good bike.

CB Unicorn:again the finest engine of these all. may give u a lot of waiting but this along with Hunk/CBZ must be on top priority.

Aside Pulsar is a good option as well but if u want something for a long run.. choose between Unicorn/cbz/hunk

and if u choose hunk/cbz better go for dual disc

Persoanal opinion but choose urself 3 main factors :
                  1)Smooth ride or Stylish ride
                  2)Long run or 2-4 Years
                  3)Easily available service/spares

So choose wisely and as one of Xbhpian's signature says, Dont research while buying a new bike, just have a test ride of all of these and go for the one which ur heart says!!

sz-r will give u mileage b/w 30-40 so definitely nono ... moreover no 150 cc bike will give more than 45-50 mileage

since your weight is good and you need mileage definitely Pulsar 150cc is your call. Its the most fuel efficient 150cc on sale. Also Passion is a very sedate bike so with P150 you get a good change and enthu to ride. Also it has a superb Digital meter. Test ride soon, you'll buy it
