Heard very good things about the GS150 but visit the service center first and see how long it takes to service it etc. Also, if the Service center is too far away from home, it may be a slight problem since they dont have too many in any of the cities. Otherwise, it seems to be a good bike for the purpose.

how bad is the city traffic you are talking about?? may be a good idea to go with 125cc scooter, would certainly take the stress out of every day riding. As far as your choice is concerned, it's a good bike, make sure you have svc near by and check spares availability in your area. If both seem to satisfy you, then you can go ahead with it.

As a Gs150r owner i would definitely recommend you to go for it.It gives very good comfort while compared with other 150cc bikes and for mileage it will give 45+ in heavy city traffic and 50+ in moderate traffic.

I would recommend go for a gearless scooter.. ample storage space and no gear shifting would be a boon..
If storage space is not a constraint.. Fz is also a good and trendy city bike with good low end torque.. GS a good bike, but service center should be near and good ..
