Frannkly speaking I just do not even like the looks of the Pulsar 135.. Hee hee , It just looks to me as if I am seeing a fox dressed up as it were a lion.. My view here though, some people may have a diff opinion.
Dicover is the better Bike, you get the VFM, descent looks and a good mileage too.

with advanced four valve tech p135 is better product anyday.it has better power than d150.mileage i guess both will be in same range,or may be d150 has better fuel efficiency by margin of 5-10 kmpl.both pulsar and discover will cruise on highway comfortably[although those are not really meant for highways].handling of p135 is better than discover.with p135 you will get fresh looks, digital speedo, better tire, clip ons for better handling, comfortable seat, knee recess, smooth transmission, more power.looks are subjective.but p135 looks way better than d150[otherwise new pulsar series would not have got design cues from p135].as far as vfm proposition goes i guess every bajaj is vfm

My father has a Boxer AT 2001 model. We are planning to buy a new bike in exchange of the old one

I have only driven 2 bikes, they are Boxer AT and Bajaj KB 125. .

I want a bike for my daily use, that is from home to office 'to and fro'. Sometimes my father also will ride it.

In short I want a "VFM" bike

I give importance to mileage. The range of mileage I expect is 55-70.

I also need appropriate power so that I can ride it comfortably in city roads and for riding long distances.(Don't know the horse power value and all, sorry)

I am not interested in sporty styling mainly because I want to ride comfortably. I don't want to lean too much towards the front like the bike racers do. Leaning too much causes back pain to me while riding long distances.

When I asked my friends, some told me about Discover and some others told me about the new Boxer 150.. I am in a dilemma Can anyone suggest an appropriate bike? U can also suggest other bikes.. other than the above 2.

Just want to talk about FE... you cannot expect more that 55KMPL in 150 CC bike. may be both can reach max of 60KMPL...

Both bike are definitely VFM bikes.

I would suggest go for 100-125CC bike. Why don’t you try Yamaha Crux and YBR, and HMC CD dawn, deluxe??

i always felt it is better to choose 150 cc as first ride than buy 125 cc first and upgrade later.some of the reasons being tubeless tire[twister offers it],broad rear tire, good suspension, moderate weight, moderate power

Hi all
I think here every one will vote for one bike only which is Discover 150 as its far better then Boxer in look, power and also have great resell value. Boxer is quite outed bike.

I would advice Discover 150. I am not even sure if Bajaj had launched the Boxer 150. I am not able to find the Boxer 150 on the Bajaj website. Boxer 150 is targeted at the rural market. I am not sure if the engines on both are the same.

I don't think Boxer has the DTS-si engine. If Discover has the DTS-si or the DTS-i engne then surely Discover is a better bike.
