Default yamaha Fazer 153cc??

Guys i'm varun from kanyakumari. I own a pulsar 150(2004 model).Everyday i go to college by bike, its 15kms away.. and the road is so bad,its full of pothholes etc..I'm using my pulsar and it isn't doing good.I'm end up with backpain..I need a good bike that has a good suspension to handle that road... currently i'm going with my friend riding a fazer 153cc.On my opinion i love the bike..The suspension's good and it provides good support to the back cause we no need to lean and ride.so i'm thinking to buy it! And guys i need your help?! I need a bike thats a bit stylish like fazer, good support to the back and good suspension..I dont care about the money and mileage of the bike.Is their any other bikes like fazer(style, support and suspension).I'm considering other bikes like honda unicorn and suzuki gsx150 too. The only problem is that both bikes doesn't have a cool look like the fazer..So pls help me as soon as possible...

If you dont plan to go on long tours, i would not recommend the fazer, fz is better... You can also have a unicorn(it has very good suspension and mileage is lot better and the engine is refined)
Test ride anything before you buy
I dont think impulse is a good idea just for bad road conditions...

Smile help again!

Thanks boss!!
I really appreciate it!!

I think i'm going for fazer cause i enjoyed the ride in that bike even in traffic.i fell in love with that bike... that its owner had to pull the keys from me...

So, today i went to college in my friends fz but.. it wasn't good like fazer.
I dont know why... but it didn't give me the joy like fazer..(Maybe because of my love on fazer)..

To tell u the truth... i loved to ride unicorn. But to me its like old fashioned.. I wish that the unicorn was cool looking like fazer...

I'm not interested in impulse at all..Infact i dont even like it ..

And finally the friend that has the fazer told me that the tyres on the fazer is too soft and has to be changed just after a couple of thousand kms..Is this true??
I would like to know is honda planning to change unicorn's apperance soon?
please boss i need your help again...

In what sense do you think the fazer to be a touring bike??

@TS:- If you like fazer then just get it. Since you are not worried about the price and mileage it does makes sense for you to get it.

My suggestion is to buy KTM duke 200, because as per me you first priority is LOOKS then Comfort (you can check the review )

I own a fazer for more than 2 years but know i think it is under powered & ktm is the bike which is not seen very easily, totally different in look & full of tashan for a college guy

I always felt that fairings like fazer/p220f are very helpful for highways as they reduce wind blast and fatigue, i'm not saying that they are not helpful in Indian traffic but i dont find them easy to use atleast in Hyderabad traffic, it purely my opinion...
I suggested him FZ since its easier to zig zag with that...

@Varun
Then Fazer it is!!!
Even i had a friend who mentioned about the soft tyre of fazer...
There is an entire thread which deals with alternative tyre options etc,... try searching with key words like "alternative tyre options for fz" (fz and fazer have same tyre i guess)...

You will get better responses from the FZ/fazer ownership thread.

Ride Safe!!!

gdont go just by fazer's look .it is UNDERPOWERED.has mileage issues.tyre is soft compound type, not ideal for indian kind of roads, fairing will be pain in the ass in traffic.fz is easy to maneuver in traffic.you can consider 180 rtr
